Amazing book for young people and adults who have loved ones on the spectrum!
If anyone needs help teaching a neurotypical sibling, cousin, friend etc about Autism, this book is really great at explaining Autism to young people (and even adults). It really touches on a lot of the important subjects, and answers a lot of the typical questions that a young person who has a family member with Autism may have. I highly recommend it!! Even I’VE learned a lot of things from this book that I never knew, and I grew up with Autistic siblings!

I would highly recommend to anyone who has a differently abled sibling.
Review by my 10 year old son:Very relatable, It really helped me understand my 3yr old brother. This book listed most of the things my brother does and told me why he does them,And helped me see that we are not alone and there are other kids with the exact same situation.

Great book for explaining Autism to siblings
Deals with important topics like kids feeling like their sibling who has autism gets more attention or love than they do. I have had to personally deal with this and the book explained it a lot like I had only more on a kid level and more in depth. It is a hard juggling act for any family who has a child with autism, as well as other children not on the spectrum. It's important those children understand why their sibling does things and why their parents may need to help the sibling a little more.

Good for young children
I got this for my 7 year old daughter because she is at a certain age where she asks a lot of questions about her autistic older brother and sometimes it is difficult for me to explain why he does the things he does. She hasn't gotten through the whole book but it seems to help her.

Wonderful!
I recommend this book for children as well as adults. It provides an excellent explanation of autism in easy to understand terminology. I bought this book for my son in the hopes it would help him to better understand his brother. I ended up reading the entire thing myself. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants some clarification about autism.

This is a great book for all
This book is not only great for a sibling, but it suitable for the extended family also. It is a quick read for adults and filled with information on why kids on the spectrum do what they do.

Nor right for our family
This may be a good book for some but it wasn’t appropriate for our needs. I have a 15 year old son with very high functioning Aspergers who was recently diagnosed. My 12 year old daughter is having a really hard time dealing with her brother’s behaviors toward her so I was looking for a book to help “normalize” and explain it for her. This wasn’t at all what I’d hoped. It is short, written pretty simply and would be good for a parent to read with their child... maybe a 6-10 year old. There are sections for a lot more severe symptoms than what we experience in our home so a lot of it didn’t apply and would have been confusing for her.It may be a great book for many families and a good resource for professionals or teachers but it’s not for everyone.

This has been a great book for our family. We have 5 kids total, with our oldest boy being ASD. This has been helpful during challenging times for siblings.

Buy this now ..... !
I bought this as a stocking filler for my Niece this Xmas who is 8 as her Brother has Autism, ADHD and Learning Difficulties and whilst while all aspects of this book didn't relate exactly to my Nephew this was indeed a selling point as showed the differences and 'spectrum' of autism. Well written and my Sister said a lot of adults could learn from reading this book that a 'autistic child' isn't being 'naughty' and as the title of this book says - everybody is different. Well priced and quick delivery of this book.My Niece said when writing this review that other brothers and sisters would be able to understand more and it was very interesting ( so much so she read it in one go) - buy this book you will be pleased you did and then pass it onto to other people in your family and friends. Well done Fiona Bleach.

great ideas
This book is great, although my child is to young to read it gave me great ideas in how to explain why his slightly older sister behaves the way she does at times, (she has high functioning autism and he adores her copying everything she does), he is now through the ideas I've gained starting to understand he should not behave in certain ways (he is only 3 1/2 and taking it very well)

Great book.
Great book .. very informative. Best to be read by an adult first and then verbalised to young children, so as not to give them ideas that won't exist in their situation.

Good book for siblings and parents too
This is a very informative book for both siblings and parents. My son has recently been diagnosed with autism so I gave it to my daughter ages 7 to read and she was interested and it helped her to understand.
