I've purchased these multiple times now because they are my cat's absolute favorite! I first got these for my own benefit, if I'm being honest. I thought they were adorable, and loved the idea of my cat playing with little toy grasshoppers, but didn't expect him to be any more interested in them than any other toy I've gotten him in the past (which amounts to an initial excitement that lasts for anywhere between a couple of minutes to a couple of days, followed by a complete disregard for it 99% of the time thereafter). Not this time. The moment I opened it and attached it to the fishing pole thing (already owned), he perked up. I tossed it around the room and he went feral chasing after it, which was all the more impressive as he had put on some weight over the previous months and had become rather lazy. The next time I brig the toy out - same thing! And the time after that, and after that, and after that! They're well-made toys, but they do get pretty beat up pretty fast. I usually replace the toy every couple of weeks, or when it starts dropping parts. They remain the ONLY toy he consistently goes nuts for, and so I will continue to purchase these for the foreseeable future. As a bonus, it also helped him lose some weight!

My cats LOVE these so much! They find the bell engaging and prefer the smaller size of toy on their wand. NíThe best part is, they're much more durable than so many other wand attachments I've tried. Most of them are destroyed within one or two play sessions by my boys but these hold up nicely! The ONLY caution is it looks like it is made with a bit of wire inside. It's not a problem until they've really worn the toy out and then I worry it could be a safety hazard, but it's always smart (and responsible) for pet owners to monitor toys and check for safety as toys face wear and tear, so I do not see this as a product flaw, especially since it takes so much longer than other wand toys for it to get to that stage!

My two normally distinguished gentlemen (7m old ragdoll brothers) went absolutely FERAL over this grasshopper! These will be kept in the drawer with a select few very special wand toys with feathers/parts that they need supervision with because they get some play-aggression. These grasshoppers seem well made for wand play, but there are some detailed parts I worry they might chew off/swallow, if allowed to sit and gnaw on it for any extended period. Overall I’m very happy and so are Luciano and Zucchero! We will try more from this brand and definitely keep grasshoppers on hand at all times!

My cats love these, they think they are bugs, which they attack. The only negative is that the cats beat them up so they don’t last that long before they are just a nub. I don’t care though, as long as they are happy.

This toy is a big hit with our young tortie cat, Mysti. She loves it and has only wanted to play with the grasshopper the last 24 hours - no other toys are interesting at this point. It does look pretty realistic. We found her outside a few years ago, so i actually think she's seen real grasshoppers in the wild - I attached it to a wand toy and move it around just like it were a real grasshopper, jumping from spot to spot. She loves chasing it, grabbing it in her mouth, and running away with it too. Its pretty darn cute to be honest - so far no issues with how "durable" this toy is, but like ANY toy, make sure its supervised play and if you start to see any signs of wear/tear, replace with a new one. I usually do not leave wand toys or more fragile toys out if we're not around - but every cat is different. Even our old senior kitty thought it was pretty interesting, but like most toys he just swatted it out of his way and went about his business :) I think these are super neat and I'm going to look at buying some other toys from this same company if they are as realistic-looking as the grasshopper ones. The only thing I'll say is there are little rubber jiggly legs on these grasshoppers which makes it look super realistic in apperance and movement, however if your cat likes to chew things a lot, that could be an issue as they seem like they could be easily chewed off. If your cat is a chewer, this might not be the best toy for them.

Perfect addition for my cats play! These 3 different styles have kept my 12 year old picky cat entertained. The size of them are perfect to look like actual insects and have that natural hunting instinct for her. So far have lasted many playtimes will recommend for the price!

I took one of these grasshoppers and tied it on my fishing pole (and took the hook off). I will cast the grasshopper out on the lawn and my cat goes crazy to chase the grasshopper through the grass. The cat toy has great functionality and design is great. This is even fun for your dogs as some of ours try to play with the cats!

My two cats didn't really care for the dragonflies, but one of them loves the locust/grasshopper so much I have to give this 5 stars. (I've seen the locust sold as a three pack and I think I'll buy it to share with my friends.) The locust is mostly very durable and has been in heavy rotation for a few weeks now. A good addition.
