CastleMoat Hard Mouse Pad with LED Lighting Effects - Large Speed Surface with Backlit Perimeter and Logo for Gaming

Yep, an excellent hard-surface LED mouse pad. My second purchase in less than two years as I literally wore the last one out from gaming! VectorAlpha don't put up with "almost as good" when it comes to my Gaming Platform - I'll pay whatever it takes to get the best components (imho) to make up for my moderate gaming prowess.However, when doing my original research a few years back this pad made it to the top of my list mostly because of size - it fits nicely into the allocated space I have available for it. Then in the the recent research I kept coming on a bunch of "soft-surface" LED pads (these do not "surface tune" as well for my laser mouse tuning) in addition to some bigger name brand hard surface LEDs which could not compare with the value of this pad. Plus I like that the company that makes these are a smaller, seemingly more dedicated (and humorous) group of folks. My hat tip to American progress: as time goes by, better tech comes at a cheaper price when good people make their dream a reality. All you as a consumer has to do is look for it. Well, your search for an excellent hard-surfaced LED mouse pad ends here my friend....Oh, and it has a 'switch' button that rotates through color configurations and there is an On/Off button, both located on the top of the pad itself. The power-cord plugs directly into any USB port you have available. And the box that it comes in is a perfect container for knick-knacks, D+D dice and all those "poor-me" letters you wrote to yourself when VectorAlpha kicked yur butt online! LOL

Dear Reader, (and also, apologetically to Eugene.)I sincerely hope you will give this mouse pad the attention it desires. As far as brand recognition, it may be lacking, but in actuality this mouse pad can compete with the best. From the box, to the product, all the way down to the friendly little message delivered inside this product can not only make your day better, but also raise your gameplay to a whole new level.On an alternate note, I truly hope you didn't harm the creature on the bridge, I know he may seem trollish, but in actuality all funds collected on that bridge are directly deposited into our dragon fighting brigade coffers. Does what I ask of it. It's a mouse pad with a smooth flat surface. It has solid surface dimensions so I am not confined to a small little pad. The lighting is a nice touch but I keep it off most of the time. The box it comes in is pretty legit as well.As far as LED goes you won't be disappointed unless you wanted programmable or custom effects out of the box. Good selection of colors. Looks neat and you can switch it on/off at your decision.(I suggest some sort of wrist pad you would buy because it can be hard on said wrist after a while of usage)

I believe this is probably the best value of a rgb mousepad available right now. The company seems like one I'd be willing to support in the future. There are a couple of drawbacks to the mousepad though, in reality I'd give it 4.5 stars but simce that's not an option it gets a 5. The first issue I have with it is there is the edges are squared off instead of rounded which would be more comfortable. The second may be me nitpicking but the white LEDs aren't very white, more of a very faint blue. My whole system is white and the LEDs don't match the bright white of the rest of my system but I'm willing to live with that. My added picture isn't quite as blue as in person but it will give you an idea of what to expect. Overall, I really like the mousepad and may end up buying one for my wife too.

I got tired of the soft foam mouse pads and wanted to make my gaming area look nice (every guy knows a home office is code for mancave/gaming area). I really like this mouse pad. Gives good control and speed to movement. Very easy to change colors, easier to keep clean, seems to be good quality and looks nice. No complaints

My boyfriend is an avid gamer and he absolutely loved this gift. He has an entire setup and this is something he genuinely wanted and was looking into getting himself. I like that it is a hard plastic and is super durable. It’s larger than a typical mousepad but it doesn’t take over the desk. The LED lights are very vibrant and colorful. We have had it for at least a year now and it’s held up very nicely.

WOW it works , I figure that this was going back, will see if it stays running. The reason I saying this, the box it came in was pretty damage ( destroyed ) on the right side and large amount of tape all rap around it, also makes me wonder if this was a return and resent out again. even if it is new. ??? with the way the box was. ( will see.)

This is a premium quality mouse pad. The lighting and design is durable and beautiful. I'd highly recommend this mouse pad. I tried another RGB mouse pad and returned it immediately after realizing the button to change the colors was dysfunctional and wasn't gonna withstand pressing it over time. This mouse pad's design is the best I've seen. I am thoroughly happy with my purchase right out of the box.
