I watched my husband use these on his CNC router and was impressed when he forgot to calibrate his machine after changing tools, which caused the machine to push the bit deeper into his stock than he intended.The bit totally destroyed his stock, but nothing happened to the bit. I thought for sure it was going to break. Not even a scratch. The stock was about a 1/4” of HDPE.This is one of several kits I got my husband from various vendors, and he said that he liked that these came with a downloadable tool library he could import into Fusion 360. He said it is a huge time saver and ensures all the measurements are correct in the tool.

Very overpriced but the down cut bit is great. They really do need to give a product database. There is no info on the bits

The tapered ball nose has no indication of it's angle. Kind of hard to get accurate v carves without accurate tool specifications.

I've noticed that these CNC bits do look quite shiny, and the cutting quality is slightly better. However, as a novice CNC hobbyist, I don't believe the price justifies the marginal improvements. I paid about a dollar each for a similar type of bit, and I don't see myself spending that much more for just doing hobby projects in my garage.
