Fool me once shame on you...fool me twice shame on me....
First portable torch set I received had a nice roll-up/wind-up hose configuration to store the hoses. However, the acetylene regulator failed the pressure test...unable to hold a set pressure....set the regulator to 7.5psi but will creep to 15psi in two minutes while the cylinder pressure gauge drops to zero.. Returned the first torch set and ordered another one since I couldn't get a replacement acetylene regulator. The second portable torch set I received has a redesigned plastic carrier which eliminated the roll-up/wind-up hose section. Was disappointed with the redesign. Disappointment increased with the nylon cable ties holding all of the regulators and torch pieces in the clear plastic holder was cut so all of the pieces were tumbling around in the cardboard box. Was this torch set a returned item? Don't know and...again...the acetylene regulator failed to hold the set pressure...set the dynamic pressure at 7.5psi...close the torch...close the cylinder...pressure will creep to 10psi which is okay....but the pressure will continue to creep up to 15psi while the pressure gauge on the cylinder side drops to zero. Removed the regulator adjustment screw...open the cylinder valve...and then close the cylinder valve...the cylinder pressure gauge will not drop indicating no leak from the cylinder to the regulator. With the adjustment screw still removed and the regulated pressure still at 15psi from before...the pressure will not drop so no leak from the regulator to the torch. So no leaks from cylinder to regulator and regulator to torch. Apparently a problem internal to the regulator. The oxygen regulators on both sets held the set pressure for hours. Time to look for a different brand.

Not a bad set
If you're getting a torch for the first time this is a pretty nice starter set. It's not super high end but it has everything you need and it works pretty well. For the cost you can't really go wrong with this. What's nice is you have everything for a good cost then as time goes on you can upgraded pieces as you go off you need to. The valves work smoothly and it's easy to adjust flows as needed. The tank holder is decent and holds the hoses and is mountable for a cart or on a wall. The one thing I'd probably replace first in this set are the hoses, they're a bit in the stiff side and can coil in your way while you're working. Part of that issue is it just being new hose but there are definitely better hoses out there.

I got this to do one job and it worked extremely well
I got this for brazing copper pipes for HVAC. The project involves a custom DC inverter AC unit split into a mini split and I had to join the two halves back together. The pipes were kind of small so it would be easy to mess it up but I was able to knock it put pretty well. This is my first time brazing with oxy-acetylene, normally I have used induction but I no longer have access to the machine. This worked surprisingly well for me, just don’t hold the flame in one spot to get it hot, move it around the joint. Works perfect.

True to it's Description
The product description is spot on for this import torch set; "perfect for General Maintenance work and the Amateur Welder". The look and functionally is all there but just not at the same high level of precision and quality. The flame control is adequate of the vast majority of situations. Reading other reviews, it appears the manufacturer has addressed the major safety concern as my torch was supplied with flashback check valves. I have seen similar kits at the welding supply store at twice the price of this kit.

Spend the money buy Victor
Residential/ light commercial hvac tech/installer. Braze almost daily but this setup was rough out of the box, oxygen regulator was broken. Very inconsistent/ sensitive flame, too late to return them now but don’t even bother trying to braze with this setup.
