I’ll never forget!
Hannah, Ben & their cats are on the way to visit Hannah’s mom & dad in her hometown in South Dakota. Hannah isn’t sure about how it would go since she hadn’t been home in about 10 years. Hannah’s mom, Jane & her dad, Charles, were happy to see them again & both were also happy to have the cats visiting as well. They also quickly warmed to Ben & Hannah knew they were sincere. All 3 cats quickly got attached to both Jane & Charles too. Unfortunately, the day after their arrival, the body of Hannah’s old high school nemesis, Jenny, was found murdered & Jenny’s pal, Daisy, went all over town swearing Hannah killed Jenny. Daisy swore she was going to prove Hannah did it & she would see to it that Hannah was going to prison. The town’s Sheriff, Bud McPherson, was doing little to nothing regarding an investigation, but he told Hannah & Ben they couldn’t leave town until Jenny’s murder was solved. So Hannah, Ben, Razzy, Rudy & Gus began their own investigation. My own suspicions from early on proved to be correct about identifying the killer but I still enjoyed the story very much. There are a couple of interesting developments at the end that make me excited to read the next book in this series.

Such a heartwarming read!
The three cats are such great characters that you almost forget that they’re cats. And Ben and Hannah are refreshingly loving and sweet. Three cheers for Razzy, Rudy and Gus. I’m hooked on this entire series. Cudows to Courtney McFarlin, one of my newest favorite authors. You did good,, lady as Gus would say.

Great story!
I just can't get over how often I get teary eyed reading these stories. To be able to write the stories with twist and turns to the main plot but still and yet convey the emotional aspects at the same time is just fabulous!

I totally enjoyed this Razzy mystery!
This is an awesome series! I just love Razzy, Gus and Rudy! It would be wonderful if I could talk to my Sydney and understand what she says! I'm not sure if the next book is the last of the series, but I sure hope not!!!!! I'd just hate not to be able to read more about Razzy, Gus, and Rudy's adventures solving murder mysteries. Please don't end this series!!!!!

love these books
Being a cat lover, how could you not totally enjoy the three cats, Hanna and Ben’s adventures. Each one is just different enough to get totally involved. It’s very nice to have a good, clean story without all the vulgarity and sex in so many of today’s books. Just the right length, too.

Razzy Cat
Amazing. I love this series. I want more. I hope there are a dozen more in the works. A story about Hanna's parents moving is needed. I also think we need one about Hanna and Ben having a child,, or two.

A really good cozy mystery read...
Hannah takes Ben and the cats, Razzy, Gis and Rudy home to meet her parents at their farm in Edgewood. Of course, where Hannah goes, so does murder, so when someone who Hannah was bullied by as a child is found dead, Hannah become first in line for the local Sheriff to question. The main reason for the trip home is so Ben can meet Hannah's Mum and Dad, her Mum will be fine but shes not so sure about her Dad, will he like Ben. Then there are the cats, her parents don't know of her ability to understand and converse with the cats; then there's her Dads view is that cats live in the barn, not the house.I really like these books, they're light hearted pieces of escapism, quick witted in places and touching in others. I cant wait for the next book to be released. Each book is a standalone mystery, however to gain the most enjoyment from this set , the books are best read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and series.I'm really excited to read theres a new series starting soon, a spin off from this series about the Clowder of cats introduced in the book previous to this one, Murder on the Mountain. The Clowder of cats from that book helped to solve a murder, and now they get their own series.

Rollicking Good Story
A great little story about going back home. Throw in a murder mystery and you’ve got a good story. I like first person narratives as it gets inside the main character’s head. This author reaches into the heart of matters.

Ben meets Hannah’s parents
There’s snow, farm chores, old childhood scores settled, and the cats come to the rescue.None of Courtney McFarlin’s stories are long or complicated, but they are charming and very cozy mysteries indeed.
