This is the 2nd electric kettle I purchased. This one is a far cry better than the 1st one, which was a Borosilicate glass from another manufacturer. I found that one to leak from the inside of the pitcher to the hotplate, while the water was cooling inside. I wanted one that also has NO PLASTIC on the inside to avoid microplastic shedding. This Cosori fits the bill!. I love the double wall food grade stainless steel construction and beautiful quality. There is no way this one could leak also. It looks great in the kitchen, heats up rapidly to a perfect temperature. The outside doesn't get hot to the touch. It's great to make a single pour over cup of hot coffee or tea, or just to drink hot water after a meal. It keeps the water hot for quite a long time without needing to reheat. Water tastes good. The only small issue I found is that the stainless steel bottom has marks from the heat coils after using for even a day or so. I found that other units and brands all do this, so I got over it and am enjoying it one cup at a time!!! Update: I was able to diagnose the corrosion on the bottom of the pot. Apparently it is build of of calcium or mineral deposits from my water, even though I am using a home filtered water, even after a few uses. I found that he scale cleaned of easily with application of vinegar and gentle scrubbing with a non abrasive pad. I started using osmotic filtered water from a local source and noticed no new deposits! Pot looks great and works perfect! Upgrading my review to 5 Stars.

Works Great; beauty and function! This Cosori kettle is perfect, and the gleaming stainless steel looks fabulous on my counter, as I move away from my old plastic based kettle. It heats water rapidly, and the 1.7L capacity is just the size my family needs. I love the blue light on/off switch.

The packaging, the box the outside of the box had so much thought put in to it, i was amazed that someone would take time out for all the details. Example; The outside of the box says “ bring warmth to your day:” when you open the box there is a piece of foam that has been cut out to fit you two fingers so foam removes easily,the pot is of generous size and is very well made nice stainless no sharp edges inside when you wash for the first time. I heated up only the minimum of water and it heated quickly best of all it’s quiet my other kettle was too noisy when you open the top.well worth the price.

Just got this kettle to replace my old one and I already love it. We use our kettle multiple times a day and this kettle heats quickly and keeps the water warm longer. And it looks so sleek and nice on my counter. Great price and 1.7 liters is the perfect size.

Very nice electric hot water kettle. Comes to a boil quickly, nice capacity, plastic free and looks good. It’s also easy to operate. I would recommend the kettle.

I like that this kettle is solid, well made, looks nice and the pot itself is lighter than a prior one I tried. It allows me to do a tea press and coffee press with one fill. My only suggestion is that in future models, please put the inside print on both sides for left and right handed people viewing. Not having toxic plastic parts is a great sell factor too. The Cosori Electric Kettle is a good value. It heats the water quickly, and I really like that it has a separate cord, so I'm not dragging the cord with it. The stainless steel is easy to clean, and the lid opens far enough to easily fill it. It shuts off automatically when lifted from the base.

Review of: COSORI Electric Kettle, Cool-Touch Double Wall Stainless Steel Insulated, Automatic Shut Off & Boil-Dry Protection, Durable Tea Kettle Boiler & Heater, 1.5L/1500W, Black - It heats up quickly (although I find this statement to be subjective, being based on personal experience and desires). - Holds a ton of water, just over 7 cups. You can make 5 large mugs of tea with that, or 7 small, one cup, cups of tea! - The handle stays cool, even after boiling a full kettle. - The body of the kettle does get hot, but I'm older and have toughened hands, so I can touch it it. - It's heavy when it's full. Might be hard to lift and pour for smaller people, seniors, arthritic hands, or very small hands - Does not dribble, and I find the handle pretty ergonomic. I do have tiny hands, but pouring for me is fine. - Average noise level while in the boiling process. I've had a few brands over the years and none of them are quiet. Cons: - 2 Lid Issues. I would prefer it to pop straight up to a 90 degree angle when I push the button. Instead, this barely opens enough to put new water in. You can force it up to a (almost) 90 degree angle. However, I VERY often need to refill it right after I've used it. The lid get very hot, much hotter than the body does. So I need to fold up a kitchen towel to open the lid to refill it so I don't burn myself. This extra step is a pain. - Ideally, I've realized I'd prefer a removable lid so I could fill it straight on my fridge door. The pop up lid gets in the way. So we do have to fill it using a separate pitcher, which means that sits out on the counter with the kettle and feels cluttered. This wouldn't be an issue for people who just use straight tap water from their faucet. -Color...I also realize I want color in my kitchen. I'm soooo tired of the black and white options. But I'm finding the best products tend to keep their color options to a minimum. And this IS a good product! Just a couple of tweaks I'd make to it :)
