This, once installed, fits perfectly behind the drawer of the dresser where there was only about 1.5” of space, but there are product design improvements that should be made. 1) it would be helpful to include a template for the hole that must be cut as getting it wrong could potentially ruin the piece of furniture. 2) the power cord has a series of links that can be shortened once the needed length of cord behind the drawer is established, but there is no way to remove those links unless you either cut the cord, slide the extra links off, then reattach the wire with the unlabeled doohickey they included in the box, or you cut the extra links off, thereby destroying them in the process (no room for miscalculation as once cut off, they’re useless ). 3) There is a fastener at the end of the cord which seems like it needs to be attached to the Inside back of the cabinet to keep the cord from wrinkling, but its installation is impossible because once the outlet is installed into the back of the drawer, and the cord is pulled through the back of the cabinet, it is impossible to access the inside back of the cabinet to screw it in. I suggest that they include written or diagrammed instructions in the box instead of just sending the outlet and cord simply by itself and making the buyer figure it out.
