Kozo Spice Grinder (4" Black)

I have been using grinders for decades and the little things make the difference.One 'small' thing that makes a HUGE difference to me is the placement of the center piece, whether it is a magnetic piece or just a grinding piece, it is critical. If the 'tall' center piece is on the top part of the grinder then herb gets packed between the top and bottom center pieces. If there is packed herb between the center pieces, whether it is magnetic or not, then they won't fit together properly and thus won't grind properly or hold together good because of the materiel packed between them.The solution, which FAR too many makers just don't do, is to put the tall center piece on the bottom part so that when you place the herb inside it keeps the herb around the outside of the center piece and nothing gets smashed between them.This grinder has the tall center piece in the proper place, on the bottom piece. It is really easy to turn even with gummy herb that is hard to grind. The tooth design seems to work great, even better than some far more expensive ones I have used. I also like the chamber design with the removable screen that you can just lift off instead of having to screw it off.Overall it is the BEST designed grinder of it's type.

This is the second time I've ordered this grinder, the first one lasted over 2 years and only failed because I removed the plastic o ring between the lid and second piece causing the metal to grind against itself and wear down. If I didn' make the mistake of removing the ring, I am confident the first one would have lasted me a few more years. For the price you will not find a better grinder.

I've only had it for a week or so but this thing is so cool and aesthetically pleasing!I need to use it for a while to determine what the effects are vs the tweezer pinch method I was previously using. The seller's marketing here on Amazon is very poor, but despite that I ordered it because it was small at 2" and made of un-colored aluminum. Lucked out it is such a nice product and at a reasonable price.

I'll put part of this on me. I generally was anything I buy before I use it. It wasn't until after I pulled it out of the dishwasher and saw all the nice shiny blue had washed away that I looked at the Amazon description and there indeed it does say "Dishwasher Safe - No". There was nothing on or in the box that stated so. It's just the cosmetic covering so the functionality hasn't changed just not as blue and shiny as it first arrived. I haven't used it yet but the built seems of decent quality.

I actually bought this to grind up large fish food flakes into smaller ones easier for my little fish to eat.It was very intuitive and super easy to use. Seems like a good quality.Makes perfect sized bits for my fish.

I have a few of these as well as numerous other grinders and these are the ones I use exclusively now. Very sharp teeth super easy to clean and the ridges on the outside make it so much easier to grab twist and grind. Having neuropathy in my hands and fingers, the outside edges have become a necessity for me and being able to operate a grinder anymore. The Santa Cruz shutter is probably a higher quality longer lasting more professional type of grinder, but the lack of these crappy outside ridges make them unusable for me anymore. Regardless, if you’re a medical patient or not, these are a really good grinders and these newer versions all have a screw in the bottom screen that stays in place eliminating the problem falling out and your product spilling everywhere.The 3 inch versions are absolute tree, shredders that leave my product, perfectly ground and fluffy. You will like lise!

Great value for the price. High quality grinder with a clever removable internal screen piece. Box is great quality smooth natural wood finish and great attention to details. Wooden Box fits grinder, glass jar, tray, with room for more storage. Lock and key work as expected.I would recommend buying the grinder with or without the box, personally with. I tend to misplace things when I’m in a rush, the box provides a single place store the grinder when not in use.

This really is the best grinder out there. This is the 2nd one I got. The first one is still going strong after 4 years of use. Still works great. Only got this new one because I wanted a new color
