great quality, great protection
as an art major in college, i yield a lot of drawings. aditionally, i carry around sketchbooks of varying sizes, lots of mediums, and past work. because of this, i was on the hunt for something besides my backpack to carry things to and from the studio. i was a little hesitant for no particular reason, but i'm really glad i bought one. my most common critique is wrinkles or tears in my pieces because i was carrying them by hand and if the weather was bad, it ruined my work. this protects my drawings in progress, holds all of my supplies, and provides a home for my older art. it is higher quality than i expected and the tag is pretty cute. overall a good purchase!

Limp fabric cover, not a semi-rigid case
This is a light-weight fabric cover and not a semi-rigid case. The case will not stand up by itself. Protection from bumps and dents will be minimal. The handles are limp fabric straps. The zipper seems good quality. The cover is shipped with cardboard filler. It might be wise to keep the filler, and make second filler from the shipping carton to provide protection. The cover could be rolled up into a tube for shipment. I am disappointed with the weight and protection provided by the cover, but it meets my needs. I wish that I had ordered a more substantial product. It’s not worth the cost and bother to return it.

AWESOME size.
HUGE! Awesome size for the money and VERY durable. The packaging was hysterical, you would have thought the portfolio was three times the size it is. I kept the cardboard inside of the portfolio and it holds all my artwork securely!

Always good to have
It's always good to have an extra portfolio. I had one, on a stand, but I really needed another lightweight, but sturdy one, for transporting my matted watercolors. This fills the bill nicely. You might want to have a cardboard added for a strong back support if are only showing papers, and nothing matted. My matted works are enough support, so that I can even open the portfolio and nicely display my work.

This bag is awesome!!!
This is a vast improvement over the thick cardboard-like portfolio that I had before I bought this. As an art student I can say - especially in the rain - it doesn't hold up for long nor fit my needs. It does work well for art storage, however. Now, this bag is awesome. It is waterproof so there are no pesky issues when it gets wet. It's also far easier to get 18x24 sketchbooks in and out of here than it was my previous portfolio. It isn't rigid, so it falls flat when nothing is in it, but it also comes with a piece of cardboard that will keep that from happening. The bag easily fits (with room to spare) my 18x24 pad of sketchpaper, an 18x24 pad of newspaper print, a 9x12 sketchbook, an 11x14 sketchbook, and a box for all of my art supplies. I'd recommend this to anyone, especially an art student who needs a durable and inexpensive portfolio.

It is sturdy, the fabric feels strong
I ordered this to store/carry watercolor paintings that I make. It is sturdy, the fabric feels strong, and it fits a lot of artwork. It carries fairly comfortably, but it is quite large, so make sure you really need a 20x26" portfolio before you order it. I generally do art up to 13x19 but have been thinking of doing larger pieces, so I figured I might as well get a big portfolio for future artwork. 20x26" is bigger than it sounds. And since it's impossible to keep artwork very organized in it or to keep it flat, I am going to switch to an acid-free art presentation binder instead. If you are sure that this is exactly what you need, and you don't need to keep your pieces very organized or rigid, then it's a very good product for you.

this is no better than a canvas sack
While the material looks of high quality, this is no better than a canvas sack, as there is absolutely no support on either side of the portfolio. How am I supposed to store anything in this unless it's on a high density presentation board? Anything without rigidity will end up getting creased, folded, or potentially ruined due to the ZERO support this thing has.

Lightweight, durable, perfect for 18" x 24"
This portfolio is lightweight and durable and perfect for carrying 18"x24" drawing pads. The zipper across the top makes it easy to get bulky pads in and out. The portfolio is made of waterproof backed canvas and has nylon handles that are very securely sewn on. I carry two drawing pads plus a pouch of supplies in it and there is plenty of room. I'm glad I spent a few extra bucks to get a slightly higher quality portfolio that will last. This is perfect, just what I needed.

Soft; but that is what cardboard is for.
Pretty decent portfolio can get about 200 sheets of newsprint and 2 slabs of cardboard (For rigidity) inside before it's inclosable. The only downside is, while it is slightly oversized, anything about 3/4" over the stated dimensions will not play nice with the portfolio or other pads in the portfolio from its soft nature.

Useful for dust free storage of my cutting mats.
Probably a bit flimsy to use as a regular travel portfolio, but keeps my mats clean and dust free in my workshop and easy to slip into tight storage space behind desk.

Great Deal for Art Portfolio
Great size for carrying numerous posters. Soft sided, just add cardboard or coroplast and it protects the art work perfectly. Great deal.
