Disappointing Performance
Do not waste your time or money on this product, regardless of the good reviews. Based on those, I bought this heater to take the chill out of a 6' x 12' heated sun room that is just far enough away from the furnace to not stay perfectly warm. It sounded like the right solution -- quiet, thermostat controlled, safe ceramic. It did heat up, but it didn't heat the room at all. As a matter of fact, you had to stand directly in front of it to feel it even with the fan and temperature set at HI and 95 degrees. Sent it back on day 3.

Research and think long before purchasing!
I purchased three (3) of the heaters in January 2018 because I was convinced of the quality of the product after researching the brand, and others. Unfortunately, just a little over a year later one (1) of the three (3) heaters has malfunctioned. Also consider that the heaters did not run year-around (i.e., exclude spring and summer months); therefore, the product functioned for approximately six (6) months, total.They are/were definitely light weight and user-friendly; unfortunately, I can't attest to the durability of the product. The malfunctioned heater may very well be a fluke, but again I validate that possibility. However, the other two are functioning as expected.I hope this helps.Thank you,J. A. Smith

Great solution for saving on electricity.
Very nice and stylish heater. its about 3 foot tall, and light which is perfect for when you need to add a little heat in your room. You can program it for up to 24 hours at a time and up to 90 degrees. Easy to lift up and move from room to room as you settle down. Wanted to eliminate having to heat up the whole house when I'm mostly in 2 rooms during the day or evening. Heater is perfect to keep you warm.

Perfect for child’s bedroom
I love this heater! I bought it because my infant daughter’s bedroom is drafty (old house) and we live in Utah so it gets pretty cold, especially at night. I love that you can choose the temp (we have it always at 70), set a timer (or not) and that it is cool to the touch and safe to lay on its side while on. Plus the remote has come in handy while I’ve been putting her down for bed in the dark and need to adjust the temp. So pleased with it! And honestly I am thinking about buying another to put in our frigid basement!

Thermostat will not turn heat off once temperature reached
Thermostat control will not turn off heat. Even with the unit's thermostat set at 55 deg the heat keeps coming even though the temperature is over 70. Without a functioning thermostat to cycle it off, it does not work for me. After 40 min. attempting to resolve with Pelonis tech support, their rep simply stated it was somehow functioning properly, that I needed to turn it up higher. I returned to Amazon and ordered a different brand. The Holmes brand I currently use (under my desk) works fine with its thermostatic control, cycling on and off as needed as the temperature changes, but I was just looking for a slightly larger unit for very cold mornings to supplement the office heat.

Doesn't really oscillate
OK, this isn't advertised as oscillating, but other reviews mentioned the "oscillating" feature and it was a good price. This heater has an INTERNAL oscillating feature that is so subtle it may as well not exist. If you put both hands up to the grill you can SLIGHTLY feel how one hand gets more air then the other. I needed a heater that rotates and throws the heat to both sides of the room, so I'm sending it back. Pelonis makes great heaters; I've had one for 25 years and it's still going strong. Very disappointed.

The heater only increases by five degrees at a time which means it often made the room too warm or not warm enough. It worked great for getting the room warm quickly but I knocked it over 1 time and now it broken. I'm so disappointed.

The Best Space Heat Ever
The best purchase ever. This heater warms up the entire downstairs of my townhouse. Temperature dropped to around 15f and this kept our thermostat at a stable 71f. Now my utility bill should drop since the heater won't be constantly running. I like the fact that I can set the temp as well. But this is a great investment. I have yet to use it during summer as a fan.
