I have not personally cut acsr with them. Though they are strong, and ive cut through and twisted multiple 12/2 electrical wire at once, i wouldnt recommend them for acsr. If you were to try it, i wouldnt try it anything bigger than 6AL/1St. But it would probably still be a bit tough to do.

Q: How do these compare to Knipex linesman pliers?

I use my pliers everyday I bought a pair of knipex from Amazon and thought from what everyone said knipex were better but after using them for about six months I’ve been having issues with them so I will be purchasing another pair of Klein’s.

Q: Do these have a lifetime warranty?

Yes Klein has a lifetime warranty and Home Depot honors it.

Q: Anyone have any issues with rusting/seizing? I do a lot of metal work so I quench in water briefly and I'm sick of pliers seizing on me

3-in-1 oil, wd-40, p-b blaster, liquid wrench, or like penitrants will work to keep them from siezing and rusting if you put it on as soon as you open up the packaging of the pliers. I do this for every single pliers I get or purchase. To prevent this from happening.
