Quality is garbage performance dose not work like they said it would.and when it swivels the only the seat is supposed to not the hole bar and seat the good thing to me about the seat is it is comfortable to sit in i wish the hole seat

Not steady, not great just ok.
I got this stool not for drums but guitar. I wanted something smaller and lighter than a chair that I could move out of the way easily. What I got was smaller and lighter but very unstable. Even when all the knobs are tightened this stool still wobbles. No amount of adjustment seems to fix the issue. (It’s not the floor either because no matter where the stool is it still wobbles) The other big issue is the height adjustment, instead of a lever action like a computer chair it screws higher and lower. This just didn’t seem to ever work well. It might be part of the wobble issue. All in all it is built well, all metal parts and the cushion is comfortable, it just isn’t worth it. My friend (who is a drummer and suggested a stool) has a much nicer stool that he only paid $20 more for with the lever adjustment and more stable design. Therefor I will be returning this stool and replacing it with another stool.

The stool material is horrible. What is it? It tore immediately.

I want to like it
I really wanted to like this Drum throne, but it just does not stay locked in. No matter what I do the collar will not stay tight when I'm playing and then the seat starts to move around a little. It keeps it's height just fine, but Both the seat and the shaft develop play in them. And then you need to retighten. Happens after just 5 minutes of playing.
