ASICS Men's 33 FA Running Shoe

These are excellent shoes for natural runners. They offer plenty of cushioning and fit my feet like a glove. I have been running in them almost daily for several months now and they have held up pretty well.Just one advice - I feel these shoes are not exactly true to size like other Asics models, so I would go half a size larger. My size is usually 11D for Asics running shoes. I got my pair of 33-FAs in 11.5 and am very happy with them.

All the reviews cautioning that these ran small were on target. I have a narrow foot so the somewhat smaller sizing didn't cause me to be forced into an upsizing. The shoe has a neutral construction (relative to pronation) with what feels like a reasonable amount of stability. I bought these for the gym rather than for any road runs and think that I'll be satisfied. That noted, I'm sure to give it a try on a run just to see how they do. The ventilation is pretty decent. The weight feels nice and light. The toe box is average in width and what I'd call a natural feel relative to the sole as it is on the flat side with less of a drop from the heel to the toe. Still, the cushioning feels on the soft side.

I'm not really used to proper running shoes and haven't tried that many, but I've recently started to take working out and running seriously so thought this was well worth the investment.As far as I know, I always wear size 13 from almost any brand. When these shoes came and I tried them on, the very first feeling you get is that they might be a tad bit too small and tight.But after wearing them for a good amount of time, loosening the laces just a little and trying to wiggle my toes they felt right and pretty perfect. Snug yet still breathable and allows you to move your feet around. Running and exercising in them became a whole new experience for me in comfort and I actually performed much better with them which is pretty amazing.

This is the first time I am running in low drop shoes.I feel it has taken me a whole month to getused to this pair.If you are currently running in the typical 12mm heel drop shoesand are not patient or do not want adjust you training schedule, you might have difficulties adjusting.I noticed my calves have become stronger,I had experienced soreness for a few weeks.The shoe promotes forefoot/midfoot striking.I have run in asics before,I found these to be slightly more comfortable.I think they use fluidfoaminstead of the regular gel technology.Shoe has ample cushioning with a comfortable upperand midsole.The upper of the shoe is stretchable so your feet can spread easily. You will nothave trouble running marathon distances in these.When I first received the shoes,the insole felt uncomfortable to my foot.It has settleddown already.I had to use the extra eyelets,without them the shoe does not feel as stable.The shoe looks better in person than on the website.The blue is striking.

I really wanted to like these but I think Asics is not for my foot shape. I have wide feet and I don't want to be limited by the few models that come in 4e width. I was sold that Asics tend to be narrow and these were just that. I ended up getting New Balance instead. I still think Asics are great shoes but these just weren't for me.
