I am so disappointed in this product. Unfortunately I didn’t read all the 1 star reviews that warned against this defective product. After just a few months, the hairline cracks you see in the pictures started forming. I didn’t notice it until I felt a slippery film on the outside of the dispenser. I washed it off and set it back out only to find it the same again within days. That’s when I realized there were hairline cracks all over the dispenser and that it was soap seeping out! The soap has congealed where it has come out of the cracks. That’s what all the white lines are. The lid has also cracked. It’s terrible to pay for something like this and have it not last more than a couple months. With all of the reviewers with this same problem, I wouldn’t buy it if I were you.

The pump on this soap dispenser works well. Ceramic material but light weight.

It was great - for awhile. I've used this soap dispenser for several months, but I already need to replace it. It makes a mess. The liquid soap weeps through the side of the dispenser. It forms little beads of soap on the exterior and eventually a puddle at the base. It's a disgusting mess. I've re-read past reviews and see that this is a common problem. Those good reviews must be from early use before the weeping begins.
