I want to like this but it's way too big. I followed the size chart and bought the XL. When it arrived it said 1XL, which is not the same as XL. I contacted the merchant and they said their XL is a 1XL, too bad. I'm very disappointed because I wanted a wool-lined vest for the extra warmth over the standard vest. Yes, I can return it, but I paid shipping to get it, I have to pay shipping to return it, and for the cost of the item paying shipping two ways doesn't make any sense. It's extra frustrating because I have bought the XL in other models from NE People and those are an actual XL and fit perfectly. Very disappointed.

Not even close to the color in the picUpdate: I missed the return window so kept it and it’s surprisingly versatile. The material is soft and the outside is fleece. The sides are like a knit sweater so it can stretch if you’re wearing layers or gain weight. I think they run a bit large (my CS is more like a S). The only negative is there’s NO HOOK or tag so you can hang it on a coat rack or hook. Regardless, I love it enough to order another.

This sizing chart is for girls and not for women. A large did not fit my mother who is 5-7' and 140lbs. Perhaps if we are no longer going to agree on uniform standards then I can submit my own standard for currency.

As for size I always wear a medium but got this in LARGE and am glad I did. The medium would have been a little tight. I'm a southern Californian so it doesn't get really cold here, but I love to wear a shirt and a vest --like this one--at home on cool days and evenings. Good looking so I wear it out also. This vest is perfect. Soft, comfortable and nice looking. I think they advertised that it was wool lined but it isn't--and that's fine for here.

This jacket is unexpectedly soft so much so I just want to hug myself while wearing. I ordered the yellow vest. The color is more of a mustard yellow then the bright sunny yellow I expected but that’s ok. I’m really happy with the purchase. I’m usually a size 4 or small in tops. I ordered the smallest size. It’s a little big for my taste (there’s a slight stretchy side paneling) but it’s atull wearable.

When I opened the package, the first thing I noticed was the color. The color of the vest is not red like the description stated. The picture shows a beautiful red color. Not so. The color was more a dark burgundy. It also smelled and looked like it had been used.

I ordered my usual size in vests and like the look of this one. But, it is too small. I had to give it away to a teenager who wears a small to extra small. I learned that from this vendor ,I need to really order up two sizes.

If you're a little busty you might find the vest a bit snug at the top, but other than that it fit great. And it's very warm. Love it.
