BLUF: throw back style, more durable then civvie bag, but damn not everything has to be molle, on a molle bag i would have to add the two pouches that are built on!I bought this bag for a trip this summer, I got it to look less military but be more durable then a standard consumer bag.This Bag- Pros: 35L capacity, daytrip or push into over night even three day, Very Small top pocket, Velco ID patch fits a flag, nice padded straps, sternum strap, and hip belt are excellent, large single inside compartment, side pockets that can fit a 32oz water bottle with draw string closure as well as the top flap. durable material, and built in rain cover. Cons: Mesh front pocket... more or less useless, front bunggies also not very useful.Other Bags- After a trip to egypt last year my brand new kelty redwing was shot. Another key feature of this bag is the side pockets, I always travel with my two 32oz water bottles. So I knew this pockets would hold them trustily, the mesh pockets on many daybags are treacherous. The elastic in a standard bag gives, the mesh tears and your precious h2o goes tumbling down the mountain. Yes this has happened to me. It also happens when traveling with other bags, something one wants to avoid in a crowded city or airplane.

I managed to catch this at a really amazing price and for what I paid I got more than I could have hoped for. Empty the bag is nice and light with many location to clip on supplies and a very nice, deep main storage area. The two side locations are perfect for my as I like to carry 4 bottles of water on longer day hikes and these make that easy. If you plan it out right you could easily get 2 to 3 days of light camping out of this. I mainly got it to use for longer full day hikes with my camera gear and layers of clothing along with lots of other safety related stuff.Are there better packs out there? Of course, am I happy I bought this one, absolutely.

Great little day pack for an afternoon out hiking or an over-nighter. Fairly well made, I wouldn't over load it though. I've been using it for over a year and it is still in great condition. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a well priced day pack.

The pack is light weight and fairly well built. The outside pockets are large enough to hold a Self Reliance Outfitters cup/ pot with lid and a 32 oz. Nalgene/ Guyot stainless steel water bottle. The buckles are a good quality as well. The outside mesh pocket is a nice idea. The con's and the reasons why I returned mine were that the cinch cords with the plastic lock did not hold. When I packed and cinched the buckle it would work loose under normal movement. The elastic that is sewn around the edge of the top was not real tight and one side seemed to be stretched out a bit and wasn't like the opposing side. Lastly, the pack wasn't long enough for my torso. When I cinched the waist belt around me the pack strap padding wasn't long enough to come down and around my shoulder/ chest to be comfortable. For a SnugPak product I expected better. Maybe I received a bad pack that slipped through quality control in China but because the straps were too small and there was a lack of padding for my needs I just returned to find something different. This pack deserves another look for someone that's a bit smaller in frame.

Great backpack, made it across Europe, through High school, and 4 years into college and it still goes with me evreywhere. This backpack has also survived multiple trips through the washing machine and a few backpacking trips. Much recommend. Need luggage? Just carry this guy and youll be carry on where ever you go (;

This is sized for a child. I am about 6 foot tall and the waist strap hits about belly button height. These are not made for a "Normal" adult.I did like the style and construction, only if it had been sized appropriately.

I recently bought this as I was looking for a decent sized hunting/hiking pack that was not overly heavy. Unlike most packs of this size with multiple useless divider and slots for pencils and other junk, this simply has a large main compartment, along with the side pockets, which are perfect for water bottles and cups that nest with the bottles. Plus with the appropriately placed bungee on the back side you can easily attach a goretex shell type jacket or an insulating layer type of vest or light jacket.I have been looking for an ideal weight and sized rucksack like this for years and finally found it. I hunt in the Rockies and pack weight is an issue. This is just the right size for big game hunting, and items that are typically carried, like fire starters, knives, rope, a lunch, spare gloves and hat, bone saw, etc.

I love the bag for what it is. I can pack everything I need for camping/backpacking and then some. It's a fairly light pack and is quite durable from what I've seen so far. Overall I really like this pack. The only "flaws" are that I have with it are 1) There aren't very many compartments aside from the main tote style body, two side pockets for a water bottle, and whatever else in the second one, a medium-mesh pocket on the outside, and then one pocket on the outside flap. 2) I'm 5'9 and have a fair a bit of muscle and if you have wide shoulders/a thicker neck (like me) the arm straps, where your neck would be, are kind of tight. And lastly, 3) the olive green in person is a bit darker than in the pictures which isn't really a bad thing persay.

Benutze den Rucksack beruflich... Klett an Vorderseite geht langsam ab und das elastische Band musste ich auch schon komplett entfernen da ist sich langsam auflöste. Das alles nach ca einem Jahr.25 Euro Miltec Rucksack kann das auch.

Ordered this for my son. He loves it. We are using it in the hills.I would have preferred side pockets wit a zip. Apart from that great Sac. Love it. It will go up Kilimanjaro soon and Scafel next week

Article arrivé sous 5 jours. Bien amballer. Petit bémol que je n'ai pas résolu tout seul. La housse de protection pour la pluie qui est montré sur les photos, n'est pas avec le sac à dos... en tout cas moi je n'ai rien. Du coup je sais pas si c'est une erreur du fournisseur ou moi qui penser que c'étais avec l'article..Si quelqu'un lis cette article et peut m'éclairer a ce sujet ca serais sympa.

la compre como un regalo y la verdad es que ha sido muy util y resiste batante peso, es muy espaciosa. El unico detalle es que no viene con el protector como esta anunciado, de hai en fuera es muy buena compra.

La mochila llegó en perfectas condiciones y es un gran producto: lo he usado ya durante casi un mes, cargándola a tope en varias ocasiones y ha probado su buena calidad.La razón de la calificación baja es que me llegó sin el cubre-mochilas impermeable, lo que me decepcionó bastante.Lamentable el control de calidad en cuanto a ese accesorio. Por lo demás, la mochila es fantástica.
