Kitchen Spread Board with Spikes Healthcare

This is just what I needed I’m disabled and this works lovely the board slips a little but worked out put a tea towel under the board then fine

Basically the spikes are in the wrong place. It’s a simple as that really does spikes need to be towards the middle of the board rather than off to one side which is often and on the very edge of a piece of bread or even missing a piece of bread. Spikes are also very long which is useful for appealing things, but not so useful for buttering things. But there is no alternative, so I’m stuck with this until somebody brings out one which is better and cheaper. So in summary it’s okay.

Saw a recommended version on American Amazon that was o/s so ordered this. Same principal but disappointingly badly executed. There is a disc of sharp spikes, 8-10 or so, to hold onions, potatoes, etc, to be cut which does not twist or fix into the base apart from two notches it sits straight down into. When you try & get anything off the spikes which is pretty much impossible one handed anyway, the disc lifts straight out of the board with nothing to stop it. I resort to pulling it out of the vegetable with my teeth which is less than safe on many levels. It needs far fewer spikes & for them to be bayonet fitted in so you’ve something to pull against. No idea who passed this for disability use!

This product is good if you struggle due to a stroke to spread your bread and it's strong and has a mat to cling to the kitchen side while spreading the bread

Recently had a full amputation of my dominant arm. Tried to peel a potato-placed it on the spikes then when half peeled tried to turn it over and the spikes came with it even though it was 'locked' in position. Removing the potato from the spikes very difficult with one arm. Also even though it has tiny rubber feet it still slips and slides around. I put a non slip grip mat underneath but it still moved. Don't waste your money. Would like to return it but think the packaging has been thrown away.

Good for buttering slices of bread as they’re kept within the ‘v’ shape on the board. The spikes are brilliant. You can put a loaf cake on to slice it or a scone to butter it. It’s brilliant for cutting/slicing fruit and vegetables. There is also an interchangeable disk which can replace the spikes when not needed. They can both be inserted easily. I can only use one arm after a stroke and find it really easy to change the discs and manage the board well. I would certainly recommend this item.

Smaller than I thought it would be however it works very well. I use it for cutting tomatoes and cucumbers hold them nicely.

Muy práctica y estable. La tabla se adapta bien, no se mueve y facilita muchísimo el día a día. Material resistente y fácil de limpiar. Si buscas algo funcional y seguro, cumple perfectamente.

Dommage que le support des pointes, ne soit pas plus stable dans son emboitement.
