TIG Welding Torch Cable Cover Cowboy Zipper Jacket Style 3.7 Meters & 12 Feet Length

I threw together a cable one day to extend my welding distance and this made it cheap and easy to add some protection to the electrical cabling. That being said if your dragging this across concrete day after day it won't last forever, but it came at an easy price.

I inherited very old welder, a tombstone style Sears clone of the Lincoln. I’m sure the cables have been changed before and they need to be changed again, as the hot sun here in Texas really doesn’t number on any rubber insulation.I like this jacket to protect cables from sunlight, UV, or burning/melting with the welding equipment. I wish I had received them sooner, because I just got a new welder and I melted part of the ground wire the first day. I imagine this jacket would’ve prevented that.

This is a very nice torch lead cover and just what I needed for my TIG machine. It was a breeze to install and only took about 2 minutes start to finish. Th hardest part was getting the zipper lined up while holding it around the torch lead. Once I got it started it was just a matter of getting the cover to lay flat ahead of zipping it up and the next thing I knew I was at the other end. The cover is a heavy denim without any seams in its length, the zipper is good quality and it's a nice fit around the torch lead. No more worries about the lead getting worn from dragging on the floor or getting dirty. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade for any TIG machine.

was a GOOD PART but was looking for black ones and these came looking like blue jeans .. GOOD SERVICE fast, just wish was explained better on site.. Where I used them I had to buy more from other site

It is Flammable and it WILL FLAME! we did not need much for a cover and were hoping to get a good light duty cover, this is not usable for welding or near welding or anything hot and much else in a real shop. The jacket started on fire AND sustained fire until it burned the cooling hose jacket inside that it was supposed to protect. We also spent a fire extinguisher to resolve the fire as we did not know what was happening (because welding stuff does not normally burn)VERY DISAPPOINTEDThe company asserts the quality of their product do you suppose they put their reputation on the line for this or are all their other assertions of equal value?
