These were a great size, actually a little larger than I had needed but my crab went right to it. They are quite beautiful!!

Real buy and real review
These shells came in decent shape. A few nicks off the edges. Not all of the shells are ideal for hermit crabs due to their shape and lack of internal space for their bodies. The shells i recieved were from about 1.25 inches to 2.25inches. I also noticed i did not recieve 5 shells as advertised, but only 4. I've placed pictures so to have a better idea of what size you will be getting to make sure it will fit your hermie and roughly how to measure their shells. You should be measuring from the start of the shell to the edge of the shell that shows the widest opening, not straight across from one side to the other. The shells are of good quality,have a nice weight feel to them and the shell feels sturdy, but one of them seems extremely shiny and im concerned it has a clear coat of something on it. NEVER USE ANY KIND OF PAINTED SHELL, they are toxic and will poison your hermies. I'm not completely disappointed in the purchase, but I have a hermie on the larger size and the shells I recieved might not fit him due to their lack of internal space. His shell is already at 1.5inches at the opening and he protrudes out of it heavily, which means he most likely will need a shell large enough to have a 2inch wide opening which is why I had purchased this set. They will work for my 2 smaller guys though, so at least they'll have options lol. If you look up -Crab Central Station- on YouTube, they have LOTS of info on taking care of your hermie babies AND how to measure their shells😊 boil your shells before putting them in your tanks for your hermies!!!

Five shells as expected & as described!
Pretty selection; helpful size; natural colors; okay deal for the money. All are sturdy enough for my purpose. These are for decor - lol I'm the crabby hermit!

Beautiful
These were bigger than I expected, and all very beautiful. My dog however, was obsessed with them! When he thought no one was looking his head went into my craft bag and eventually he would come out with the same shell from that package. Unfortunately he got it one time and before I could catch him he had chewed the small end off of it. He is the worst little doggy! 💕

Not all are large shells
The shells are nice and a couple of them are a larger opening size, one is a medium opening size and 2 are smaller opening size. They are not all large as advertised but hopefully they will do, as my hermit crab is molting right now and will need a new shell once done.
