Great for the money!
Purchased this bed for our 2yr old! It’s a really solid frame, finished well, and easy to put together. Only set backs are it only hold 200lbs which we placed extra wood underneath bed and plan to reinforce the corners, the railing with the opening is a little wobbly which we also screwed in a piece of wood to stabilize it, and the mattress is a standard twin and we had to shove a blanket at the top as the frame is a little bigger, but overall it’s a great bed for the money. We have an 8in mattress and a comforter on top with a good amount of railing above.

Children LOVE this bed
Easy to assemble, comfortable for toddler and safe for night sleeping with a child who moves a lot in their sleep. It is difficult to find a mattress to fit the length since you need to find a smaller height one, but a pool noodle at the end worked for the gap. This bed has given our child more independence in being able to get in/out of bed while staying staff at night with the safety latch.

Sturdy with modifications
I had wanted a floor bed to give my daughter independence. I ordered the pink full size bed for my daughter and am in the process of transitioning her to her new room so I wanted something I could lay on with her while getting her used to it or if she gets sick, etc. The pink is definitely more of a light bubble gum pink instead of mauve but it is still cute. The frame was easy to put together and feels solid when I am getting in and out of it but the slats that come with it to support the mattress are thin, wobbly, and not very sturdy so I needed to reinforce them to be able to hold both our weights and a 70lb 7inch eco kids avocado mattress (great mattress by the way! Hard enough for a toddler but doesn’t feel like I’m laying on bricks either).I went to my local hardware shop and had them help me make two 73in (legth) x 3in (width) x 2.25in (height) pieces of solid wood and put those underneath the existing slats touching the floor, anti parallel to the existing slats along the length of the bed. Note that height was the most crucial part but not easy to make since most slats only come in up to 2 inches so we ended up nailing two smaller pieces of wood together to make up the 2.25inch for each side. I slid those under the existing slats, one on each side of the bed. Then I purchased Greaton, 0.75-Inch Vertical Wooden Bunkie Board/Bed Slats with Cover, Enhance Mattress Support, Full. Put that on top of the existing slats and then the mattress on top of it all (with waterproof topper of course). It feels very solid now and supports my weight and my husbands great so we can get our daughter in/out the bed or lay next to her or if she jumps on the bed. I put sticky traps along the perimeter on the floor to o deter any bugs since it is a floor bed.The avocado full size mattress we got fits fairly well on the sides but there is some room at the corners. I ended up buying two of these to cover all the edges: BreathableBaby Breathable Mesh Liner for Full-Size Cribs, Classic 3mm Mesh, White (Size 4FS Covers 3 or 4 Sides). They help cover the corners too and keep her arms/legs from getting stuck in between the rails. Then I ordered Oodles of Noodles Deluxe Foam Pool Swim Noodles (6 Pack) and put those on the tops of the rails so she can’t hit her head. They are not too big and fit perfectly.Note she can easily get out of this bed but the point was never to keep her locked in but rather just to keep her from rolling in her sleep which, with all the modifications I made, she still has a good 6” of railing to prevent her from rolling off the edge in her sleep which is enough. We didn’t attach on the little door but I will keep it handy if she starts rolling the length of the bed in her sleep.

Not bad but not the best
I wanted to try this for my 5-months old. Although I just got this about one month ago, they only had a full-sized option at that time. I saw a similar one at Walmart which had a delivery fee so I decided to go with this one. I had simulated what would happen with this bed in my brain so much because this would be a huge change from a crib so here are the things you may be curious about!1. You need a bunkie board and a mattress. Your total cost will be a lot more than just this bed. I couldn’t find a mattress that was not so high so I got a 9 inch one and that makes the rails almost useless. I will probably need to put some protections around the bed once the baby starts crawling. The slates are not very sturdy so you definitely need a bunkie board. It still is squeaky.2. The full size mattress is 54X75 and this bed is 57 X 79.5. So you can see in the picture that with the mattress in, it makes a 2-inch gap in the two sides which might be needed if I would use a blanket. But currently, with an infant, I only want a fitted sheet so I will need to fill the gaps in once my baby starts crawling.3. The smell of whatever was super strong when I opened the box and it could give a headache. I left a fan on more than one day to get rid of the smell but it still has some odor.4. Full size is huge. I would get a twin size if I had that option when I bought it.Even with these shortcomings, I really like the transition and my baby loves the bed too. Here are the things that you would likely see.1. It is very easy to sleep with the baby. (Even the whole family can sleep in together) It is also easy to sneak out once the baby falls asleep, which was the first reason I bought this.2. It is a good play area too! You don’t need to put a blanket on the floor for tummy time. You can just do it on the bed, lying down with the baby.3. My baby didn’t want to stay in her crib because she didn’t want to be by herself when she was awake. Now she doesn’t hate the bed because she doesn’t think that as a bed.4. I am planning to use the mattress for a regular bed once my baby grows up!Hope this review helps!!————-UpdatesI switched the mattress with the thinner one (4 inches) so I had to give up a spring mattress. Now I can feel the bars in the bunkey board and it still squeaks. I think it would be better to remove all the slates and put the mattress on the floor if you live in a house you don’t use shoes. But a thin mattress would make sense for the baby to be able to crawl out by herself and be safe within the rails.

Toddler approved
This was a great bed to transition to from a crib, our toddler loves it and I feel comfortable knowing he won't roll out at night. Fits great even in smaller rooms and matches all his existing grey furniture from graco, very easy to set up to.

MOLDY
The media could not be loaded. The package was delivered early, but there was a significant amount of mold growing inside the package which also grew onto the wooden slats for the bed. The were also bent coming out of the box and had obviously not been sanded down properly. The slats are much too far away to be used without a box spring. The slats are 9.2 inches away, 3 in or less is recommended. The frame itself was fine and easy to put together but I will be returning the product as it is unsafe for a child to use.
