the game himself returns....
what nick fury vs. sheild destroyed, fury builds again. coming out of retirement and the shattering of everything he knew, nick fury reluctantly returns, with a mystery and a new foe ahead of him. this time instead of a whole orginization behind him all he has is his ex lover and her new bf, and overzealous first time in the feild agent, and hard wired telepath. as always the man that knows the game succeeds, and decides to start over. this is a great start that leads into stories like secret war, civil war, and secret warriors. no super heroics just the spy vs. the unusal side of the modern sheild.

Don't waste your time.....
As a fan of the original Nick Fury of Shield, and as of rereading the Jim Steranko classics, I decided to check out one of these editions of the further adventures of Shield and Nick after the demise of SHIELD. I purchased volume 1 hoping for a "good" read or maybe some great art, and was very disappointed. Story is just a rehash of the old Marvel plot lines, and the art was far from eye candy. I didn't even finish the last two stories.....boring, boring, boring, lifeless characterization, very unappealing art, overall waste of my time and money. I'll keep my reading within the 60's and 70's Marvel line-up, before they sold out.

1980/90s not 1960s Nick Fury
No comment on the contents, which I haven't read. As a physical object it seems very good quality. Just to note this is a reprint of the 1989 Harras/DeFalco series, not the 1968 Steranko volume with the same title. The product information provided was pretty minimal at the time I ordered, so I ended up making a mistake. Return was no problem though - thank you Amazon.
