Switch Sticks Award Winning Adjustable Folding Walking Sticks Thames Turquoise Design

I've purchased Switch sticks for years because they are well made, fold and unfold quickly into nice manageable size and due to lovely bright colours and patters they are great for all age groups young and old and been in early fifties and used walking sticks for over ten years don't feel my disabilities are emphasis by standards NHS sticks or original black, brown sticks. The modern designs just make you feel less conspicuous. I've always purchased directly from Switch spending circa £40/£50 at a time, it was a lady I met who had identical bubble design stick who told me howmuch cheaper you could get genuine Switch sticks for from Amazon somewhere I've shopped with confidence for years but would!d never of dreamed sold Switch walking sticks. You can purchase replacement handles, rubber ends, rop strap etc which I've done previously directly from Switch but given how much cheaper Amazon sell the sticks for it's more cost effective to just buy a new stick. Only negative to these lovely designed sticks is when you drop them, of they fall when propped up against store counters etc. the shiny stick loses paint and the handle gets chipped and marked hence why I've brought so many sticks over the years. They are still fully useable but start to look tatty. I'll be buying all new Switch sticks through Amazon from now on.

Bought as a present for someone who wanted something that looked a bit more modern than the usual plain walking sticks. It appears well-made and easy to use, my only slight criticism is that the colour is different to how it appears on the screen - the one supplied is same design but more of a teal green colour than the pale blue shown on the product photos. Doesn't really matter in this case as the recipient likes both colours, but worth bearing in mind if you are buying it to match a particular outfit!

This is my second switch stick and I love it! I bought a black/multicoloured one last year and decided I'd like a lighter colour for this summer.Theres nothing wrong with my first stick at all,I just wanted a different one for a change.I'm so glad I found these sticks,lots of people pass positive comments about them and they have started up some really nice conversations.I highly recommend these for anyone but especially for younger people who find the more old fashioned hospital sticks to be a bit upsetting to have to use.

Lovely stick but I wish the manufacturers had put a strong varnish over the paint on the handle as it has chipped in places where I have dropped it (which I often do) I now looks quite tatty.

Whilst out shopping recently, I lost my folding Switch-stick, (which was a present from my daughter) and I felt lost without it.,That's when I ordered the very same Switch-stick again and was happy when I received it the next day already. Now nobody will know that I lost it and I am feeling more secure having it at hand for when I need it. It is very comfortable and light and can be reduced to a size of telescopic umbrella, fitting into a hand-bag or shopping-bag from the supermarkets. K.Paton

Nice stick, very sturdy but disappointed that the handle is coated with colour and has a tiny chip already, I haven't dropped it or anything. White showing through, I expected the handle to be a solid colour throughout. Only 4 stars because of this.

For the first time in my life I need a stick as I now have arthritis in my left knee. I only need it occasionally but cannot tell when I need support so an ordinary stick would get in the way. This folds up and comes with a bag to keep,it in and if I am going out for a long time, I take this with me in case I need it.

As a new user of a walking stick I purchased this because I am now going to use it all the time. I have returned the hospital one and my new Switch Stick is great. I have had so many friends asking where I got it from and the cost. Looking at other sticks they didn't seem as supportive as this one. Thank you also to all the people who left posts before because they pushed me in the right direction..
