We didn't want a shock collar! Something to train that didn't hurt....this is perfect! Our dog I'd learning, and this does not cause him pain! There is a shock function if that's what you're looking for. It's not a collar for someone that wants their dog to stop barking all together...

I am in awe! We have a wild dog since he wasn’t properly trained when he was a puppy. He jumps. Bites sometimes. Barks at nothing. Never listens so he can’t roam freely in our yard. I was overly excited to get this as we love to love on him but he needs obedience as well. This worked instantly. I’ve only had it one full day and can already tell a major difference. The vibrations work very well & only used the shock when he didn’t listen three times in a row & then when he chased after another dog outside our yard. Otherwise, it’s great. I even shocked myself on the highest level so it definitely works. It’s affordable and does the job. Not sure if the durability yet but we shall see.

This product has really helped a lot in my puppy's obedience training. I can even now let him out in the front yard with me, without worrying about him leaving the yard and running out into the street. I hate reading instructions so I usually just dig right in. Imo, eveything was pretty straight forward. Only problem was that at first I had a hard time knowing whether the collar and remote were on or off. So I had to scan through the directions, anyway just to make sure.You get 3 options to use on your dog; a buzz; a beep and a dog whistle, that I can't even hear but my pup sure can and he absolutely hates it. You also have different volumes. Now that my pup is use to the collar, the buzz barely gets his attention depending on what he's doing but the whistle stops him dead in his tracks every time.

We use it to reinforce commands he ALREADY knows. Using it with initial training just causes anxiety in my dog. Teach the skill, use the sound to reinforce if he’s distracted, vibrate to enforce a command he’s disobeying, and honestly do t shock him if it’s not imperative for his safety. That’s my two cents.It holds a charge for a LONG time. We only use it when we go off leash in the woods now. Or to enforce commands when around the pussycat.I wish I knew how to make it work with our elec fence so I wouldn’t have to change collars.

My family owns over an acre of land and when my dog runs off which he doesn’t now with the beeper he comes right back. The only sad thing is I’ve had it for 2 months and the screen on the remote is mostly blacked out now so I will have to order a new replacement one. It has never sat out in the hot sun either. Only charged when said as well.Other that this problem Great working remote and it works for 3,000+ Feet!

My dog doesn’t react to the shock. I have used it on myself so I know that the shock DOES work. It doesn’t hurt it’s just uncomfortable. I bought this because he was chewing through walls (when we were home) and nothing was working. He was also pushing the limits with my older dog. He learned really quickly with the vibration because it got him out of a trance like state and would actually listen! I put “his necklace” on everyday and I rarely have to use it but I truly think this helped my dog mature into a better version of himself. He’s still insane but he doesn’t torture those around him and he can now make friends.

Worked good until he ate it. Would enjoy being able to just attach to it to a different collar but that can't happen.
