Changed their Formula causing sick dog and extensive vet bills
My dog is highly allergic to many ingredients in the majority of dog foods. After searching 1000s (NO EXAGGERATION) we found this brand and formulation she was able to tolerate. She had been on it for over a year and did quite well. She still required her daily Apoquel allergy prescribed medication but for the most part was not suffering as she had with the other dog food. My dog is allergic to Beef, Venison, Soy (any form), Flax (any form), Peas, (any form) and in any amounts. Even trace amounts cause her skin to breakout, fur to fall out, extensive hives, diarrhea, vomiting internal hemorrhaging, etc. She is sensitive to pork and salmon but not to the point of becoming deathly ill. When we started our subscription to this product it did not contain these items so we just put it in the subscribe and save program trusting it would remain the same. Just last few months my dog became very ill experiencing all sorts of severe digestive issues, breakouts and required vet hospitalization. After she was stabilized and discharged with a large vet bill we reexamined the ingredient list. The dog food now contains flax and peas. Needless to say we are back at the drawing board in trying to find a dog food we can give our fur baby. Just a complete disappointment that they messed with a good thing.

This Food Has Changed Since the Company Was Bought By Purina!
I have been feeding my two fur babies this food for several years and was initially thrilled at how much my dogs loved the taste and the improvements I saw in their skin and coats. Fast forward to the last bag I received, which we are halfway through. Both of my dogs have had diarrhea since we started this bag. I was at my wit's end so I started researching and found out that the company has been bought by Purina. I don't know what they did to the food but my dogs cannot handle the change. I'll be throwing out the remainder of this food and going with a different brand.

Finally! Adult Kibble My Dog Likes
I have a now 14 month old Scottish Terrier. He was fed puppy grain free kibble until just before a year old when my vet said switch him to adult food. He didn't like any of the adult grain free by that maker. I switched to a couple of different exotic protein grain free and he did not like them either. I then read an article that grain free "may" be causing heart issues with dogs. I decided to switch to a food that had no corn or soy or wheat. I know oats and the other ingredients are good for dogs. I found this and he likes it. I've found my keeper food.

Our fussy Aussie Shepherd approves
We have two dogs. One will eat ANYTHING and the other -- our Aussie Shepherd -- is more discriminating in his taste. He likes this Whole Earth Farms "proteins and whole grains" blend better than Whole Earth Farms's salmon kibble or their chicken-turkey or beef-pork or turkey-duck blends. (He also loves Royal Canin brand adult dog food, which costs about a zillion dollars a bag. Maybe I should just cook him ribeye steaks?) Anyway, this blend works well for us.

Mispackaged bag made my dog throw up and now I have nothing to feed him with.
My dog has been on this for almost two years and has loved it. I just opened a new package for him and the kibbles were smaller than usual. I thought it may have just been a new batch of the food. It looks just like the puppy recipe that we had him on when he was younger but the bag says “Adult Recipe.” I gave him his first meal of it and he ate it very slow. He threw up later and now he will not even eat a piece of it. I believe it is the puppy food mispackaged as the adult food because he has never had an issue with it and the kibbles are half the size.

Golden Retrievers favorite food
Been feeding our golden this food for years... It seems nutritionally better than most other brands on the market. I have reordered from amazon countless times but it's always funny... Never know what to expect when it's delivered... Sometimes the bag looks like it's been rolled over by a truck, sometimes it's perfectly fine. Wish that it was a little cheaper because I did see another retailer had it one time for slightly cheaper but it didn't include prime shipping.... Either way, my dog seems to like the taste as he gobbles it up. I'll be reordering as I have been as long as I don't get a bag that's completely unusable, which hasn't been the case yet.

Choose Blue Diamond Freedom Instead....
Do not buy.... atleast not from Amazon. This dog food has caused my pit bull to suffer with bloody diarrhea and I’m extremely upset!!! My boy has never had any issues with any dog food and has a history of having a tough stomach; eating any and everything with no problem before this brand. Never should have given this brand a chance.

Haven't tasted it myself but my dog likes it
I haven't tasted this myself as I am not going to eat dog food because I'm not a dog. But we've been giving this to our dog since he was a puppy (we bought the puppy recipe) and switched to the adult recipe after he was a year. He never has a problem eating it, but then again he doesn't have a problem eating anything. This seems to maintain his weight well and he poops regularly. We tried slowly switching over to something with more ingredients and more expensive but that didn't go well, so we switched back to this. I'd say this has been the best dry food for our dog.
