The install was medium ease, the pairing and using the Bluetooth is extremely frustrating. I am literally holding my phone next to the lock and it constantly says I have to disconnect Bluetooth and restart it in order to do any of these settings and to try to unlock it I have to turn off Bluetooth and turn it back on. Additionally there's no clear instructions on how to use this gateway and Alexa.

The lock is great. Per instruction, you have to drill a hole into your door, but I didn't. My previous lock also required to drill a hole and I did, but it does not line up to this lock. Rather than drilling another hole into my door, I just left the top unscrew, it still hold the lock fine using just the two bottom screws. It comes with a gateway, which allow you to lock and unlock remotely through wifi instead of bluetooth, but there's a lag when opening through wifi or bluetooth, sometime it doesn't connect at all. Of course, you can also unlock with the key fob, mechanical key of password. It seems you can only connect using it's app and this gateway, it won't connect to other gateway. I have three different locks, they all connect to the gateway I have and all the smart home apps no problem. This lock however, only connect to the included gateway and their DDlock app.
