good value for money
useful for simple benchwork.Unable to set current independant of voltage, only downfall.

Good value item
Handy power supply with coarse and fine controls to produce precise current and voltage output. Clear illuminated display against black makes for easy readout too.

Bench power station
Works very well, The knobs are very easy to turn and quite sensitive.

Superb PSU
This is great as a psu and as a battery charger for the batteries for my mobility scooter and for my electronics hobby. Great protection built in with a wide range of dc voltages and current limiting. The price put this professional utility into my budget range too.

Great PSU for radio gear
Really good power supply suitable for HF and VHF transceivers, plus bench use. Very quiet - causes no interference. Has a 2A USB socket as a bonus. Power switch on rear may be awkward for some. Accurate display of Volts, Amps, and Watts (tested against a Fluke 37). Constant voltage/constant current - good for charging a variety of batteries. A valuable addition to the lab/workshop/shack.

Difficult and slow to react to controls
The main problem with this unit is the slow reaction to the controls. Turn the knobs then wait for the display to catch up. This makes setting different voltages slow and tedious, although the final voltage is correct within 0.1V.The other major annoyance is the mains switch hidden on the back, really inconveniently placed. All in all, too awkward in use to keep. Maybe I had a faulty unit, but returned and wouldn't buy it again.

Just the job
As I restore boomboxs for a hobby this has been invaluable just set the current you need and connect allowing me to mess inside without being blown onto next doors sofa .Easy to set what you want and totally reliable.I wouldn't be without it now.

Does its Job
Would give it a 4.5/5 but as that's not an option 5 will do!🤣 It's only couple downfalls is there seems to be a voltage drift of about 0.05V when it's on, you can adjust it wherever you want but if you leave it alone eventually it'll drift -/+0.05V practically that's not much of an issue and it's a very easy fix, it's just a slightly annoying thing for an OCD person who wants it to always be the exact same voltage and not have to keep tinkering with it to set the voltage back as should be!Only other issue is just more of a personal design issue, with the switch being at the back as opposed to the front. I use to have a different power supply but I needed the extra Amperage this offers, and that had the switch at the front, which made turning it off and on a lot more convenient than this is with the back.Otherwise it's a brilliant piece of equipment that does exactly as it should- overall happy!
