CARL Angel 5 Royal Pencil Sharpener

It is a very high-quality sharpener & with a great design and color, This sharpener is excellent He manages to sharpen even charcoal pencils and not break the tip of the pencil. it's one of the best sharpeners I've come across. I am very satisfied and recommend adopting one of these

Made in Japan, the assembly quality is much better than the basic Angel 5. The gripping jaws won’t chew through your round pencils and the whole thing is just so much more robust.Sharpening is adjustable and will be a pleasure every time.Well worth the price, this model is why Carl sharpeners enjoy such a good reputation.

This is the best sharpener I have had in a LONG time.Normal sharpeners don't seem to be designed well any more and just don't work properlyI looked online to find a sharpener that had good build quality and worked wellI ordered this and when I got it started sharpening the several pencils and crayons that where long overdue.It was smooth going and I'm impressed with it's ease of use and overall quality. It's made in Japan. I'm a big fan of Japanese products, there quality is far superior.The only down side is that it doesn't come with a clamp to tie it to the edge of the table.But it's not a massive issue, it's still easy to use and sturdy.

+ it looks really great+ metal construction, apart from the tray that stores the shavings which is clear plastic so you can see how full it is+ feel very sturdy+ creates a very nice long point, similar to the M+R Pollux+ great value for money, there are plastic sharpeners that sell for the same priceThe rubber grip can slightly mark the pencil, but a lot less than other sharpeners with a metal grip.I cannot comment on its durability yet as it is still new, but it does feel very sturdy.

Took me a minute to figure out how the thing works, and I’m glad I read the review that mentioned turning the crank only a couple of times to sharpen. Doesn’t need a clamp which is nice, so it’s easy to take along for vacation pencil painting. Well made, attractive and easy to use. Very happy with this sharpener!
