A class leading hybrid APSC camera - love it!
I recently upgraded to the Sony A6700, and it has exceeded my expectations in nearly every way. As an avid photographer and budding videographer, this camera offers the perfect blend of high-end features, portability, and performance whilst maintain affordability.Image Quality:The A6700 delivers stunning image quality with its 26MP APS-C sensor. Whether I’m shooting landscapes, portraits, or action shots, the level of detail, dynamic range, and colour accuracy is impressive. The camera handles low light remarkably well, and the ISO performance is a noticeable improvement over previous models.Autofocus:Sony’s autofocus technology continues to lead the industry, and the A6700 is no exception. The Real-Time Eye AF for both humans and animals works flawlessly, ensuring sharp focus in nearly any situation. The fast and accurate tracking is perfect for capturing moving subjects, whether it's wildlife or fast-paced events.Video Capabilities:For video, the A6700 shines with its ability to shoot 4K at 60fps (100fps with a crop on the image). The addition of 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording gives me more flexibility in post-production, allowing for colour grading that really brings footage to life and allows me to add my own creative touch. The camera's active stabilisation also helps in producing smooth, steady shots, even when handheld.Ergonomics and Usability:The compact body of the A6700 is a joy to use. It’s lightweight yet feels robust and well-built. The grip is comfortable, and the controls are intuitive, the additional wheel on the front is a nice touch. The fully articulating touchscreen is responsive and a great addition for vlogging and composing shots from tricky angles (low down/high up etc).Battery Life:Battery life is solid for both photo and video shooting. I can comfortably get through a full day of shooting with a single charge, and the USB-C charging is convenient for on-the-go recharges. Additional batteries are recommended but certainly not the amount with previous models. Conclusion:The Sony A6700 is an exceptional camera that caters to both photographers and videographers. Its blend of high-quality imaging, advanced autofocus, and robust video capabilities makes it a versatile tool for creatives at any level. Whether you're upgrading from an older model or entering the Sony ecosystem for the first time, the A6700 will not disappoint!

Amazing for the money
Amazing camera for the price. Bought it about half a year ago and extremely satisfied with it. Makes 4k 120 frames per second that my a7 IV can not do and it’s only half the price. Picture and video quality are absolutely amazing

Great camera for both photo and video
What a great camera!!! I’ve come from a Nikon d810 and was contemplating keeping with the Nikon brand. However after lots of research, I decided to bite the bullet and change over to Sony and sell all my Nikon camera and all my F mount lens. It’s a superb camera for both photos and video. Paired with a Sigma 18-50mm and few other lens my wife doesn’t know about!Light, compact but with a great grip, it’s brilliant for my days out and holiday. Going from a full frame camera to a crop sensor camera worried me a little, but the choice of lens available for the Sony emount eased all my fears. For me, a true leader in the hybrid mirrorless camera world.

Massive upgrade from my A6300
The media could not be loaded. I loved my previous camera but it just wasn't doing it for me after I used the Sonay Aiii at Uni.Took me a bit to save up but it's 100% worth it for me. I'm still getting used to the extra buttons (e.g. photo to video switch) but there's a lot of potential to be quite efficient if you're a hybrid shooter like I am.I mostly take photos and videos of my dogs so the Autofocus on animal eye tracker has been a game changer. Plus the 4k recording is nice if you want to make social media posts but also landscape videos.Battery life is okay, I'll be getting extra batteries for day trips, especially if you're filming. The camera itself is quite small I'd say, the grip feels natural. I was tempted to get a full frame but having a more compact camera just feels less awkward and more practical. The screen I'm still getting used to. It's nice but I keep folding it the wrong way which sounds dumb but ye...

colours straight out of camera way better than my old 5100
its a really good camera, but may be a little complex for some people that need a point n shoot instead, but the 6700 does have an auto mode.youtube videos help with setting up search for "a6700 tutorial"take time learning what you want to adjust to get the best photos or videos for your needs.it has stabilisation built in, good !it will be my apsc camera of choice for the next few yearshighly recommended

The perfect package
Was debating between the A7C ii and the a6700 for a long time and having tried both, I have no complaints with the a6700. The new AI autofocus feature is perfect for nature/animals which the crop factor is useful for. Not to mention the cheaper and more compact lenses with very similar image quality on the new sensor

Almost perfect.
I didn’t buy the a6700 on Amazon, but every review helps those considering it. I bought this for everything but wildlife, for which I have a Panasonic G9 Mk2. The G9 has more reach and a much higher frame rate. That said, since getting the a6700 it’s the only camera I’ve used. The a6700 is so compact and lightweight - a real ‘take anywhere’ camera. Its autofocus is astonishing and it produces excellent photos reliably (I rarely shoot video, so no comment there). It may not have the frame rate of the G9 Mk2, but it is still a very fast camera in operation. For most people, its 11 frames per second should be enough. It’s certainly proving to be an excellent wildlife camera, to my surprise. Pair the a6700 with the Tamron 18-300 and you can capture just about anything. My only real complaint is the viewfinder - it’s clear enough but much too small and uncomfortable. Edit: I have one additional observation. The image stabilisation, although good, is some way behind that of the G9 Mk2 and the OM-1 (which I previously owned). This is noticeable when framing the shot.
