iCrimp PEX Crimping Tool Kit for 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch Pex Copper Crimp Rings, c/w PEX Cutter,Go-no-go Gauge, Meets ASTM F1807 Standard

Needed reasonably priced pex crimping tool. To date, I've used this to crimp 1/2" copper ring fasteners. Works well. This kit feels solidly made and comfortably fits my hands. I used included tubing cutter. Makes easy, square cuts. Square cut insures connector will seat properly. Assembly procedure: a) cut tubing to length b)slip crimp ring on to tubing c) insert fitting d)engage tool; crimp e)check quality of crimp using "go no go" (u shaped checking guage). Refer to included directions to determine whether your crimp will be: leak proof or require additional squeeze, or two. Process has short learning curve. For possible future errors in placement and to allow me to reuse fittings, I bought this manufacturer's crimp ring removal tool. Like the crimper, removal tool is good quality(and following included directions) and very easy to use. As other users have remarked, this is a manual tool. If extensive installation is to be done, this tool will do the job, BUT, YOU ARE THE POWER SOURCE. Due to the crimper's size(length) it will not be useable in tight quarters. As another reviewer suggested, this problem can be overcome with planning tubing runs so preassemble will minimize this problem.

If you are replacing that old black or lead filled galvanized pipe in your home and installing Pex then this kit is for you. It is sturdy and the shorter version handle helped me work between the floor joists with ease. Now dont get me wrong, it takes some force to crimp the 3/4 rings and i had no issue but my wife could not muster the strength to do it. The pex cutter worked with ease and the Go, no go gauge worked great. This was a good quality buy and I see why it made the Amazon best buy list. Sturdy, well built and quality made. Comes in a great case also for protection and thank God it is in red and not black so I can see it,

Very nice product! Read the instructions to ensure you get a pass on the crimping. This item was set correctly out of the box and I crimped on over 50 3/4" copper ring connectors. All passed the go/no-go gauge and none of them leaked. Very well made and it will work with 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch pex fittings! 100% recommend this product. Very nice case and it is everything you would expect for a pex crimper

Product is very well built, easy to follow instructions and would’ve gotten 5 stars except for the cutting tool which I found out of place with the quality of the main tool.

Tool comes with 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, & 1” insert to accommodate PEX crimp rings. Also comes with cutter, go/no go gauge, and spare screws. I like that you can recalibrate the tool if it starts to not crimp after long term use. Comes with a sturdy carrying case. Saved me a call to my Plumber and learned a lot about PEX while performing the repair. Compared to the $99 tool at Home Depot and Lowe’s this is way better of a buy.

I have used this tool. you need to exersize care whern crimping to get the sleeve in the proper place. I reccomend geting a crimp ring cutter. I know I am. the tool is well made and meets my expectations.

Way better quality than i expected for the price! I’m very realistic about tools, lower price = lower expectation but this set was a much higher quality than the price point would indicate. Pull the trigger on this one, you won’t be disappointed!

I do commercial plumbing. I do residential work sometimes. I was told you need a crimping tool. This has 3 sizes and a pex cutter. I was working in a crawl space under my friends house. I was fixing 1/2" copper water lines for his bathroom sink. The copper wouldn't work it was to tight of a space. I put the pex lines off the sink valves. I used an adaptor to connect to copper main. The crimp tool was easy to use in the tight space. It has the 3 sizes of water lines mostly used. It's a great universal kit without having to carry 4 different tools 1

This is a great kit for the price. This crimper is much shorter than I've used in the past; but the mechanism provides suitable mechanical advantage that I've had no difficulty using the tool - even in awkward locations. The swappable crimp size is convenient and feels solid, and the additional cutting tool is sharp and provides clean cuts to the pex. The go/no-go gauge is nice asset for confirming the tool is calibrated correctly - I'll add that the tool came perfectly calibrated out of the box, so no calibration was necessary.

Nice tool, well designed, sturdy, and comes with all the necessary extras to make this a great all-rounder for PEX pipe work.

I’ve had prior experience with professional crimpers in the past. I decided to redo some plumbing in my home to replace an exterior hose bib. The tool worked as advertised, no issues with any crimps made. The measuring tool that comes with the crimper is great for novices to ensure a proper crimp is made. Highly recommend.
