Cheap but gets the job done.
You have to really crank the saw to the bit because there's no nut to hold them together. My problem was as soon as I let go of the trigger it would back spin, unthread it's self, and fall off. I also can't get the two pieces apart anymore BUT it did do the job and it was the cheapest option. If you need a few holes get it, if you need more than that I'd invest more in a better one.

Decent for small jobs
I bought this because I don't need a super durable hole saw when all I want to do is install 6 ceiling lights. This one performed well. Just one word of warning, you need a drill with a 1/2" chuck! Mine is 3/8" so I was in a bind. Luckily I do have a smaller set of hole saws and could use its arbor with this large hole saw.Other than that, I drilled 6 holes into drywall with it, it's not a beast but it definitely did get the work done cleanly. Can't apply a lot of pressure, so just take your time. After the 6 holes, the teeth still seem sharp, I'm sure I could do a number of small jobs with this just fine. Hard to beat for the price.

Cuts like a champ
The base is solid, not just nut reinforced sheet metal.Cut through 3/4" pine board with ease. Arbor and bit works with my milwaukee saws, and is almost identical. Impressive materials .and quality. Very sharp. Only used a few times, but I'm confident it will be in my array for a long time.

Does the job
This saw went through some very thick laminated material without an issue. Take your time when using large hole saw. I took several breaks during the cutting process for material to cool down. No issues and a perfect hole for my venting job.

Great for 6" LED recessed lights
Worked great. No problems with grabbing the drywall because I worked steady. It cuts fast so no need for a lot of pressure. Mine used a 3/8" chuck. The little spring helped push the drywall core out, but it tended to stick in the pilot hole so I had to pull it out and put it back on the drill bit about half the time.

It works!
I bought this hole cutter to cut a hole in a speaker enclosure. It worked quite well for the two holes I had to cut. It bored in well and cut the hole fairly smooth. I’d buy it again if I needed to!

PRICE IS RIGHT, BUT IT WASN'T THE SHARPEST HOLE SAW I'VE ENCOUNTERED
Bought one of these to bore two (4") holes in the opposite sides of a single tolex-covered 1x12" speaker cabinet, for inserting two 4" diameter circular plastic portals, to help vent the pressure build-up inside the speaker cabinet . . . to let it breathe (so-to-speak)! The cabinet itself is made of 3/4" pine or (birch ?) plywood, and with some pampering and babying, this hole saw finally made it through successfully, but it was a bit of a slog! Hence, it coulda been a tad sharper.
