These seem to do their job of filtering but when it is something very fine or even some kind of algae that looks like dust if you touch it in bottom of pool the se balls can not catch it. Have to still use some sort of mesh ecs that want let it just go through. Also there was no dye that bled from these being blue. I have to rinse them and or take them completely out and wash them in my washing machine periodically or my pool will stay dirty. When I put the clean ones back in everything works great again. I wish I had ordered 2 packs so I could always just exchange out when time to clean them.

Upgraded our pump and decided to use these instead of sand. It was the best decision !! Pool has stayed blue all summer with just chlorine and vacuuming. Worth the money!

Works very well for our sand pump. Our pool has never been clearer. I just wash them in the washing machine every few weeks and they are pretty much as good as new. These are so much better than using a cartridge filter or sand for the pump.

These are amazing and are the only way to go. Much better filtration than sand/media and nowhere near the amount of backwashing required. Using in an Intex filter on a 16x48 pool.

Last fall we winterized the pool but during the rest of fall and winter we got some crazy wind storms that completely ripped the cover off and destroyed the water as you can see. I used these filter balls with an Intex ECO 15110-2 and in 72 hours(3 Days) the water is crystal clear. I wanted to make this review as guinuine as possible so aside from a little skimming I haven't vacuumed it yet. I wanted to put these things to the test and they've far exceeded my expectations. Now all I have to do is vacuum it and make sure the chemistry of the water is good and the pool is ready to go. In my opinion these are more than worth purchasing if you're looking to convert your pool pump from sand to these. I hope this review helps!

Worked great! Barely had to vacuum my pool all summer, literally just two or three times! Washed them at the end of the season so don't know yet how well they will work next year after being washed. If they don't work as well, it would definitely be worth buying them every season as they kept my pool spotless all summer with hardly any vacuuming needed. I don't like to see any debris in my pool and to be this satisfied is saying a lot!

The water we have where we live is well water and full if minerals and metals and it's hard to keep up the water clarity. Tried a sand filter this year and it helped a little better than the regular filters you get with above ground pools.i got a skimmer for the pool and the skimmer wouldn't work correctly while filtering I had to have the pool pump on circulate for it to work. So I saw these pool balls and put them instead of the sand. I can now use the skimmer while filtering because the balls give better flow than the sand. So between the skimmer and these little filter balls the clarity and cleanliness of the pool is amazing. This under 24 hours of using them. I usually don't leave reviews or feedback but this product definitely deserves it.

A great substitute for a sand filter. They work amazing! We have high iron content in our water and these helped filter it all out. Easy to pop in filter, or take out and give them a rinse/wash in your washing machine. Definitely worth the money and they do great with lots of use! 100/10 recommend!
