Microplane Artisan Fine Grater, Green

Really nice . Very sharp ! Mind your fingers.

Bought this on Amazon, from the Handy House, I used it immediately, (which is today by the way,) I usually grate lemon peel and have to constantly watch for too much pith in the gratings--this was amazing--I found I could get the very top layer of peel which is the vibrant coloured layer--and also there is still a layer that is peel and still not the pith!! The gratings are not mush either, they are very tiny fine ribbons, This really is a fine, fine grater! It doesn't slip and it's the perfect size too. I may have to get a couple more with different size blades. I haven't paid a ridiculous sum either. Fantastic.

Fantastic ! Used for nutmeg , Parmesan, lemon zest , orange peel, chocolate .( not all at the same time if course ! - that would be gross :() sturdy and can also grate fingers . Great tool but be careful with your enthusiasm .

Very good value for money. Not a fine grater as other from the same brand but definitely more sturdy. Use it in professional environment and it does it's job.

Boyfriend wanted one of these. I failed to understand what could be so good about a grater that they could get away with charging over a tenner for it. It doesn't even have more than one size on it. However, after using it, I completely get it. It's so sharp and so fine that grating parmesan is now an effortless joy. As a result, we've been having a lot more parmesan on things, which can only be a good thing.

This product is the best on the market. Very sturdy and very sharp. It's excellent for Parmesan or for shavings of fruit in dishes. Handle gives good grip and comes with a nice plastic sturdy shield for the drawer

I bought this to replace a previous grater which seem to have become blunt over time. It's a good grater and it looks good too. I saw comments in reviews about it being very sharp and needing to use the 'guard' it comes with when it's the in the drawer... well I lost the guard the first time I used it. I think my OH thought it was just packaging and threw it away! But that doesn't seem to be a problem at all, I'm aware it's sharp so I handle it with caution.

I'm not a fan. It seems to have gotten dull much more quickly than the early microplane models, and while the handle is useful, food gets trapped between the plastic rim and the back of the grating surface, making cleanup a hassle.

Much easier and safer to use than the older Microplane model I had. Works great for zesting, and grating nutmeg and parmesan. Non-slip grip handle and larger size are great features as well as a protective plastic cover. Choice of colors a plus.
