The little pack that could!This little unit is a life-saver! it's smaller than a set of jumper cables, and easily hides under the back seat of my truck in the little cubby under the seat! I charged it up per the instructions when I received it, and then it sat in my truck for 6 months before I had to use it. Low and behold, it worked PERFECTLY even after sitting that long, I had a coworker struggling with dead Jeep after work. I whipped this puppy out and hooked it up to her battery, within seconds the light on the unit turned green and the Jeep fired right up! Bought this for my wife to have in her car (I already had one). These are great, much better than cables as you can jump yourself or jump a vehicle where getting to the battery with cables in not possible. Way better than waiting for roadside assistance. These make great gifts for the people you care about. I don't know it it's necessary but every so often 4-6 months take it out and charge my phone and tablet or anything else I can find to drain the battery a bit before recharging. Not sure if it helps longevity cycling it but at least you know it's still working.

I have had a Gooloo jump starter since 2017, almost 8 years. I have only used it a few times but it has always worked great, from a 4 cylinder to a big V8 engine. I recently had to go jump start my daughters car on a rainy night when she was stuck at work and everyone else had left. After sitting in my trunk untouched for a year or two it still showed 100% and after jumping her car showed 98%. (I always recharge to 100% after I use it, before putting it back). I am very impressed with the Gooloo devices and have bought them for my wife, son, and now just got a 4th for my daughter to keep in her car. Very good for a piece of mind on keeping your loved ones safe and much better to be self reliant than having to ask strangers for a jump start.

I purchased this several months ago and wanted to use it before submitting a review. Unfortunately, we had to rely on this a couple of times during the winter to jump our Subaru. BUT fortunately for us, this little charger was up to the task. It did not fail in very cold weather, starting our car on the first try each time we used it. Gooloo can do the job and gives us peace of mind. We don't go anywhere without it now.

Purchased this in December 2023, charged it an put in my car for emergency use. Have never needed it but took out in May 2025 to recharge, never would charge beyond two bars. Sent email to Gooloo customer service as it had a 15 or 16 month warranty. Got a reply from Fiona and was informed to send video of the status lights which I did. Fiona gave me directions to completely discharge by charging a device on the unit. Did this and still wouldn’t take a charge. Was offered a refund through Amazon or a new unit. I chose a new unit and had a new one within the week. Great customer service. Thank you Fiona.

Works exactly as expected. Started vehicle with completely dead battery.

I found out the hard way that many of these portable jump starters won’t start a vehicle if the battery is totally dead. This model has a “boost” button that will help start batteries that are totally dead or beyond capability of many of those portable jump starters. It worked fine for me and I’d certainly buy again.

I read some reviews before purchasing this and am very satisfied. I read about other similar products only having the capacity to start a car or truck once before needing a recharge. Still better than a jump but not great. This lil guy started my Miata 6 times in a day, right away, and didn't dip below 75% battery. I would not be surprised if you could start a small car like that 20 times on a charge. It's also really small and easily portable.
