Perfect...with some modifications
These are pretty cool little lights once you make the necessary modifications. I was redoing my bathroom shower and wanted lights in the recessed niche and these were perfect. As others have mentioned, the wiring is terrible. The way they are marketed vs. the way they are wired makes zero sense. The first problem is the red and black wire to each light is MAYBE a foot in length, and that is being generous. If you only want to use 2 or 3 of them and they are all in within a foot of each other, it shouldn't be a problem as you're able to connect all the wires together. If you want to use more than that and have them relatively spaced out you'll have to piggy back. And therein lies the second problem - there is no way to actually piggy back them together because there are not enough wires to do so. Each light really needs 2 sets of red and 2 sets of black so that you can actually connect them all together.HOWEVER, I'm a crafty gal and also a licensed contractor so I will tell you how I made it work for me. Keep in mind this was for my own personal residence and I'm not an licensed electrician and I really recommend having a junction box if you do this method.1. I drilled the holes through the stud/drywall. The size hole to drill is 5/8" not 1/2". I then drilled smaller holes through the vertical studs so I could run the wires through.2. I did not use the metal clips that came with each light. They work fine, but not when trying to install into tile. So I just liquid nailed them in. They won't be going anywhere, lol.3. I bought a roll of 18ga red/black wire and a pack of 2 to 1 wire connectors. You could use wire nuts too but the 2 to 1 connectors are so much easier.4. On the first light, I put the red wire into one connector, and the black wire into another. Then I put the red/black from the next light into the connectors. THEN I cut a another piece of red/black wire to use as a jumper. I put the additional wire into the final slot of each connector and then that is what I used to piggy back onto the next light.5. I then connected the last piggy back wires into the transformer and then connected the transformer to the white/black main 120v line, which I then connected to a light switch. It worked like a charm.I will post an update if my house burns down. If you don't see any update, then assume all is well. There is also a slight delay from when you flip the switch until they turn on. And by slight delay I mean half a second. By the time your brain even registers the delay, they are on. I saw a lot of posters complaining about that but that is really nit picking.Long story short, these little lights are exactly what I wanted and you can't beat the price. But you definitely need to have some DIY skills to make them work how you want them to work (or hire an electrician.)

Excellent...
I am an electrician and I have to say that these lights are spectacular. My clients could not be more satisfied and happy with these lights. They look spectacular. They are not outrageously bright and are wonderful lights at night. Plus, they are practically invisible when they are off.

Sleek design, bright lights
Installed these in custom headliner in. 1965 ford f100. Very sleek design, and great light. Well made, easy/ tight fitting install.

LOW VOLTAGE LIGHTING
Bought these to add in the ceiling of our wet bar. They added that simple polish we needed. Please follow the instructions carefully so you don’t blow the voltage. We had very little room to work with so I added 2 pieces of basic wire for each connection to daisy chain them (did not have access to above). These lights are bright!!

Transformer was D.O.A.
The first set I installed went perfectly well. Simple installation and wiring. They look good and work good. I liked them enough to get another set for another project. Unfortunately, this time the transformer was junk in spite of its QC Passed stamp. 30 day returns only work if in new condition and of course I had confidently cut and soldered everything to fit since the first set worked so well. Looks like a suitable replacement transformer will be $13.00. Certainly not the end of the world but rather disappointing. Test before installing.
