Presets work great and it is very easy to use. Fast at heating water. Great deal too! Don't know how I lived so long without a water heater like this.

I needed an attractive kettle for my tea and instant coffee. I was very pleased with it initially . I liked the way it looked . It seemed to be ok. Maybe 3 weeks or so I noticed that water is leaking out of the bottom .I don’t see any breaks . I’m dissapointed .

As described. It looks so good. And works as expected. Btw the seller is very responsive. I had a problem with my first delivery and they solved the problem right away.

this does not have bad plastic smell and button makes this product fancy, keeping the water warm is good function to have in the winter time. only thing bothers me is that lid does not close well and I push down then it pops back up.

Pluses: Clear side walls show water level; small baseNegatives: Controls are inconvenient This kettle is attractive with its clear glass and its imitation blue gas flame, but it has too many negatives to give it a good rating. The first negative is the poor instructions. The instructions give incorrect information about turning the kettle on in the preset temperature mode. They also say incorrectly that the keep-warm function only works in the boiling mode and not in the preset temperature mode; keep-warm does work in the preset mode. The product information on the Amazon sales site is more accurate than the enclosed instructions. After ignoring the instructions and figuring out how the kettle actually works, the negative things about the kettle began to show. For starters, the keep-warm mode only keeps the kettle warm until you lift it off the base, after which the kettle turns off. If you want to keep the kettle warm you have to push and hold the temperature button again. This is a real nuisance if you pour from the kettle multiple times. And the nuisancy things continue. The buttons are hard to push. The control panel writing is so tiny and faint it might as well not be there. The kettle can be hard to locate over the post when you set it on the base. The base started rocking once because a piece of plastic on the bottom warped. I didn’t check the accuracy of water temperature much, but the few times I checked it was +/- a few degrees at best. Pouring is not delicate; if you want to do pour-over coffee brewing this is not a good kettle. There are no audible beeps (which is fine by me), and the indicator light showing on/off or keep-warm status can only be seen if you are within a few feet of the kettle. I wanted to give this kettle a 4-star rating, but the keep-warm function that turns off is aggravating so I gave it 3 stars. The kettle will serve my purposes but I’m not totally satisfied with it.

I purchased this kettle for the variable temperatures. Immediately upon opening the box, the temperature selector sticker label started peeling off; I stuck it back on and it stayed, for now. Now 3 months into use, the plastic molding seal at the bottom of the glass carafe and black heating plate cracked and is pulling away from the kettle. Also, the handle is just painted plastic, not metal chrome or aluminum.**Update**The company contacted me and offered a refund showing integrity.

The stainless steel kettle that I've had for 30 years finally gave out the same. We're not sealed anymore. So I had to break down and finally purchase something new as much as I preferred to find something similar to the one I had. I didn't find anything. I cared for from the company. This kettle has met all the marks. At such a reasonable cost and it's working well
