Bought for a Christmas gift for my 14 son, so far it exceeds our expectations. Very easy and fun to fly, durable so far (no major crashes yet). Battery life is good about 10 to 12 minutes with no wind. No problems at all so far. And the LED lighting is great for dusk flights! This is a really good one!

Apparently I didn’t read the entire description, it was made of styrofoam. First time my nephew flew it broke. For the price , NOT worth the $$$. Not worth the 1 star

This is a great RC plan for the price. Larger than what I expected and our 11 year old grandson is very happy with it. Spent most of the day Christmas taxing the plane down the runway…our hallway since it was raining most of the day. Got to fly it today. Good product, sturdy, and flys well. Plus the lights on the wings really add to it!

The media could not be loaded.  Very durable. I’ve crashed it several times and just pick it up and go fly again. Easiest to just throw it for take-off, and almost impossible to land smoothly on the ground bc of how small it is. There’s practically no weight to it. Some mods are necessary to make for better maneuverability with slight wind.

This little plane is absolutely incredible. I am a private pilot in real life, and this is my first and only RC plane. I have been flying it for 6 months now and it is still going strong. I have crashed it at least 20 times, including once at full speed into a light pole and several times straight into the ground. I am finally able to fly it on expert mode in calm air, and when things get hairy I quickly switch it to beginner mode and the plane rights itself instantly. The technology and durability in this little plane is unbelievably good for this price. it still brings me joy to fly it, best purchase I've made for myself in a long time, and at 48, maybe the first toy I've bought for myself in decades. Don't even bother with the landing gear - land it in grass or fly it to yourself and catch it out of the air. I have had to do a few minor repairs to the foam, which is very easy with a basic two part epoxy. When the sad day finally comes that I crash it one too many times, I'll be buying a new one.

Only 2 channels meaning you have to increase throttle to go up, throttle down to go down, and stick to cruising at one speedIf it's windy say goodbye because you'll have no control

I have always had an interest in airplanes, but thought that flying an RC plane was diffucult, expencive, and scary. With the Volantex P-51 Mustang it is so simple and easy to get the plane in the sky and control it easily. The plane has a gyrostabilizer that will keep the plane level in flight and will allow you to fly in slightly windy conditions. The controls are easy to understand and very responsive. I had never flown an RC plane before (had years of video game experiance) and I was able to fly without a problem on the first flight.Even though the plane is easy to fly, I have crashed it a few times into buildings and trees and there is very little sign of damage, the only thing you will see is some scuffed paint. The compact styrofoam that it is made from allows crash landings and proprellers to come off, and you are back in the sky in minutes.There is no set up and no building of your own, just put 4 batteries in the controller, charge the batteries for the plane, and off you go right out of the boxSome thing to note: on some phone chargers that I have tried, the "charging" light flashes red and takes forever to charge the battery, but in other chargers, the light will stay a solid red and charge the battery in around 45 minutes. Something that confused me at first.All in all, a great plane, easy flyer, and well worth the money to start an amazing hobby

My son used his Christmas money to buy this plane. He's flown several RC planes and jets. This one got caught caught in a light gust of wind and slammed into the ground and broke. It wasn't really windy. So disappointing!

This Mustang 2 channel plane flies wonderfully, as long as you understand how a 2 channel RC plane works . It needed no adjustment and flew perfectly out of the box. Very pleased

Not impressed with this plane. Spend a few pounds more and get a 4 channel plane.

hard to fly with any wind.it is crash friendly.great starter plane

Bought as a much wanted birthday present for my son.Took it to a wide open space for a safe first flight, 1 minute in the wind (which was not very strong) took the plane at least 1/2mile from where we were never to be seen again.That was with turning off the propellers to help it drop...but the plane is so light, the wind just kept taking it further away from us.A very disappointed son in his birthday.
