The hook provided goes very well over the standard door of my main closet.I use this organizer for my few more expensive hats, who are stiff and don't fold. Need TWO elements to hang one hat otherwise they overlap too much and don't stay on.For my floppy less expensive hats, I use a toy organizer (chain with clips) for which I had to buy a separate over-the-door hook. It holds a lot more hats, and it is more secure, but again for my more expensive hats I use this product instead.

Perfect since I can add and remove as needed. You can fold the ones you don't need making it storage friendly. This was great for me so much so I bought more. I store most of my headwear on it, one side facing me and the other facing the wall. In the Spring and Summer, I have the side of all my caps facing me. Then flip it to the other side for winter hats and caps.

Because of how they connect, they do not lay flat. It pulls away from the door, Unless you want to screw it into your door. Very sturdy plastic though. You also cannot close any of the fold out pieces once they are attached, except for the very bottom one. Overall happy with the purchase.

Made of plastic, but I have had it on my wall for over a year and it hasn’t broken, so I would say I am happy with the thing. Looked cheap and chintzy when I got it, but am happy after over 2-1/2 years.

I ordered this particular hat rack because I thought it would be easy for my 7 year old son to use. The rack installed easily, and my 7 year old could easily hang is hats.

Did not hold baseball caps well. I returned this item.

These are reasonably priced, and are plastic which is to be expected. We use them in two groups for hanging hats in a small space. Having that flexibility works better than a one-piece hanging rack.

Didnt work as advertised. Hat only fits on every other ring. Awkward. No hardware.
