Product was easy to install and looks great. I put 3-4 large books on each and some objects on top so it definitely hold the weight. Adds a fun design element of floating shelf’s.

I had seen these before on Pinterest and decided, I wanted to give them a try after wanting to get rid of a bulky bookshelf that we had in a small corner. I used four of the brackets on one stack and three on the other stack, and I recommend packing the books rather tightly - this makes the brackets and books more sturdy. I did end up using hardcover books as the base of each mount, but there are paperback books stacked up there with them. As other reviewers said, I definitely did not use the hardware that came with the brackets, but I used my own - heavy duty hardware and wall anchors from Lowe’s. My kids love the look and my seven-year-old says it’s definitely magic that those books are floating!

Exactly as advertised

Ended up replacing the screws that came with it, one of them snapped after it was in the wall and I had to use pliers to get it out so don't bother trying to use them.they're also smaller than I expected, they only feel stable when you have the books on them tight enough that they are stuffed between multiple shelves. I definitely wouldn't use these anywhere inside an earthquake zone or if you have kids.
