Very easy to use and setup.
Received the item very quickly. It is very easy to setup and download the app and the relevant files for different car makes. Extremely easy to use and connects with the car and phone very quickly. The app has a nice easy to navigate menu system and the Car codes can be read very quickly and cleared if there are any faults. The fault code lookup on the app is very useful. All in all a very well priced OBD tool that will be of benefit to single car owners and home mechanics. Highly recommended.

Paid for itself already great product
Got my BMW wheel alignment done and they made a mess of it. I had 3 fault lights relating to traction control, cruise control and the DSC system none of them were working. I used my old OBDII fault code reader and it didn’t read any fault codes from the ECU. I received the Topdon diagnostics dongle today, downloaded the app, registered for an account downloaded the BMW diagnostics software ran a scan and it picked up all the fault codes. Reset them all restarted my car and all lights were off and my car is back to normal again. Went for a test drive and the lights haven’t come back and hopefully won’t. Have the car booked in for the annual inspection and this little tool did exactly what I needed. It’s very easy to use and has lots of features and functions that will really help me in the future. What a steal to buy this so cheap I would have had to pay €205 for BMW to run diagnostics on it so well worth the money and I’m very happy with the purchase. Highly recommend to any DIY enthusiasts who want to fix and diagnose problems yourself.

Works great, scans everything. Clears codes perfect. Code look up too!
A good OBD scanner indeed. I have used it on multiple cars from many different manufacturers. The device recommends and app, this then gives you a very comprehensive list of car manufacturers. From there you can navigate the menus with ease on your smart phone. I does ask to identify the vehicle by reading its vin number, some times this does not work due to the individual car manufacturer selection not being upto date. This is easily done by selecting an update on the app. It also seems to work better if you switch on your location. The faults it can read seem to be limitless. you do have the option to clear these faults and also look up the fault code through the app. On a whole I have found this Bluetooth obd reader to be fantastic. Certainly saves you the cost of a garage read and the fact that it can constantly be updated is great. I'm on my second year with it and have had no additional cost.

Worth the money
Great value for money. Small compact with a large range of manufactures data for both code reading & live data.

Good for DIY amateur mechanics.
Good for diag. Very simple use, However with multiple cars I’ve had problems initiating DPF regen, despite meeting all criteria it seems this device and software doesn’t allow you to do a static regen. This goes for ford, Vag, Volvo cars. If you need to carry out special requests I advise purchasing a more advanced product. This product certainly hasn’t met the standard I expected. £69 sounds nice, but really all it’s good for is accurate diagnosis.

Great value for money device
I was slightly skeptical at first for the price but I had an intermittent abs light on my 2003 mini cooper so I thought it's cheaper then bmw want just to plug it in so I figured I'll give it a go well I can honestly say I have been amazed by what this little thing not only did it tell my my abs is due to a wheel speed sensor it allowed me to view to live data to see exactly what was happening and when it also displayed stored fault codes I didn't even know it had for low battery voltages and also an airbag issue which upon seeing I realised was when I replaced my steering wheel for a "fancier unit" this shocked me as the car had the battery removed and was completely dead before this was done, it also allowed me to reset my service indicator which is amazing for someone who does there own maintainance, I then tested this on a mercedes a180 2014 and was happy to see it diagnosed everything On the car without issue and allowed me to determine a fault with the steering angle sensor that was triggering a number of other issues, I also tested it on a 2012 range rover evoque to find it once again performed flawlessly. Overall I highly recommend this device.

Very useful and many positives
Multiple positives: 1) Easy to use - simple - don't need to be a trained engineer 2) Wireless so you can do test drives without cables everywhere 3) Uses your phone screen - so much more cost effective than a OBD2 sensor with a screen built in. 4) Updates supplied over the air to your phone - no having to plug in to a computer to get updates Observations: Having to read in the car serial number each time you use the sensor (which the unit does for you) can get annoying if you're working on the same vehicle. Shame you can't just 'remember' the vehicle and not sure why it needs to do this anyway. Whilst you can view a graphical display of ODB2 data streams - it would be good to have the option to maximise one of the graphs - i.e. the one you are focused on - even so, the graph still gives a digital readout of the value so it's not the end of the world. Graphical displays would also be good to be able to adjust the time view (i.e. to view a trend over a longer period of time) - but again, you can record the data and export this, so you can do the same afterwards. The positives far outweigh my observations above and I recommend this product.

Not for me but Its probably really good, based on the level of customer service/support.
I cant really review the product or rate it. However, contact with TopDon is very encouraging and promotes a really strong feeling of belief in their product. Based on that I expect the OBDII scanner performs really well, but I dont actually know. I am getting fed up with companies forcing you into signing up to things online and giving over your data. It is totally unnecessary. In this instance it has prevented me from setting up the device, as I have no www connection, and therefore prevented using it. So I have not been able to even check if the device powers on! Main thing is the vehicle diagnostic, that is out in the field on location, can not be diagnosed with this device. Email verification is required for use. The world is not 100% covered in www access. Indeed where I live, small village in uk, there is no cellular coverage. This kind of unnecessary forced product online connection and verification needs to be made very clear before purchase. Having said that, the people behind TopDon are very keen to engage with their customers and help wherever possible. It is a shame that in this instance there was nothing at all that could be done to alleviate my own location based connectivity issue.
