I was not impressed with the usual beverage cooling units as it seems either to be a square peg/round hole situation in using them to chill beauty products or overpaying for a modified version that catered more to beauty products. Enter this Vanity Fridge - classy AND functional. Let's dive in.Form - This unit is beautiful and classy. It looks amazing on a dresser or counter top. If you have a smaller size bathroom, note that this will not fit near a sink. You really need dedicated countertop space for this item. That said, it looks amazing on a dresser. The shiny accents are truly beautiful as well, and the usable space vs outer footprint doesn't feel like you're losing out with the extra design elements on the outside. It's a more than acceptable tradeoff when compared to "beautified" beverage fridges out there, and having the door on top means much more functionality and deep space in fitting beauty products while being able to access ALL of them. Trust me - I definitely considered getting the cheaper beverage fridge and placing it on its back as an alternative.Power - the plug is situated on one end. This means that you can back this unit right up against a wall, and you won't have to account for the plug sticking out. That said, if you place it flush against the wall, you won't be able to open the lid to fully standing (give it about a cm to do so).Heat - like any cooling unit, this produces heat, though it's like a slightly warm breeze and not concerning whatsoever. It comes out of the same direction as the power cord, so if you have the back sitting flush against the wall, you don't have to worry about the heat getting blocked.Cooling - this chills so well, it occasionally creates condensation pools inside, and the outside feels cooler to the touch. The cooling comes from the powered end of the unit only, but I have found that it keeps all items sitting inside the unit well chilled. The only exception is the items that I place in the shelving compartment on the top door. They are mildly cool, not chilled. The rest is so cold that I simply place a bit of cloth on the bottom closest to the cooling unit to keep items inside from getting wet from condensation. The farthest end does not have cloth, and the items touching the bottom are very chilled and dry.Noise - this unit makes almost no noise whatsoever! I have it in the quietest room in the house, and I still can't hear anything from it if I'm not standing RIGHT next to it.Compartmentalization - there is a clear piece that you can insert vertically to divide up the compartment. I wish it was a little more customizable in being able to place it anywhere along the space, but it IS useful. I lean skinny products up against it. As mentioned before, it's nice to have the shelving on the door, but don't expect those products to get very cold as everything else inside.If you're looking for something sleek and beautiful and extremely functional for chilling your beauty products in a careful and thoughtful way, make room on your dresser top for this chilling beauty unit. I highly recommend this to any hands down over any other vertical unit on the market!!

I use this fridge to store my various creams, eye patches and serums. It's wonderful to have these items chilled, especially my toner sprays & eye patches.Once a week I do need to wipe out the bottom as there will be a bit of condensation. No big deal.The fridge stays cool, but probably not cool enough for a beverage or medicine. I definitely wouldn't keep insulin in this fridge.If I needed to store breast milk for transit I'd trust it. But honestly a small cooler with a handle (using gel ice packs) would be easier. This fridge has small legs and would probably wobble on your car seat while driving. As it has no handle, you'd end up toting it under your arm. Not ideal.It is rather large and will take up some space on your counter. You might want to measure and configure your space prior to purchase. However, it's minimalist in design so doesn't detract from your room's aesthetic. It's actually quite attractive.The fridge is extremely quiet. I can barely hear it running and I'm quite sensitive to sound. It has a small light on the side, but it's dim and has never bothered my sleeping. (My bedroom is mere feet from my bathroom.) You can always place a small dimming sticker over the round light if this is a distraction for you, but I doubt you'll require it.My favorite part about this fridge is the top opening. It's so handy to simply lift up and find what I need without a hassle. There's also a clever space for eye patches attached to the door, love this.I've had this fridge for about a year and have zero complaints. It's one of my favorite self-care items.So glad I purchased it!

While the vanity fridge does cool my skincare products effectively, I have had the product 8 months and have never been able to prevent significant standing water inside the unit. Now, it has what appears to be black mold, even though I regularly dump the water, clean the inside, and keep air flowing freely near the intake. I’m stuck discarding this moldy thing, as I’m not able to locate any warranty information. I should have listened to the reviews. What a disappointment.

I love this little fridge. Since it opens from the top I can see everything and don’t have to move things out of the way to get to the things in the back like you do with a regular fridge that has a door on the front. It does end up with a lot of water in it from condensation though. I put a washcloth in the bottom to soak up the water and sit my skincare bottles on top of that so they don’t drip water when I use them. I have to remember to wring out the washcloth every once in a while but that’s not a big deal

I absolutely love the room and deep space, cold temperature and easy access. I can get in to gather my skin care tools and products very easy. Great value for the price.

I loved while it worked. It died after a real bad storm went through our area and the power went out for a day and half. Don’t make my mistake and not plug it into a surge protector. Also if the insurance comes with it get that to and save your cosmetics that need to be kept cool/cold.

I put all my skin care products in here so they are cold when i put them on. Having them nice and cold helps reduce puffiness. I did have to lay all my products down because they were too tall to stand and close the lid but im totally ok with that. I prefer this bucket type to the stand up mini fridges.

So far.... it has held up.
