I also thought the sleep tracker would be useful with insomnia. I have persevered, & overall I’m very disappointed & will look to return as faulty given the price. The clip is ok when wearing a bra - sorry lads! I wore this to long dentist appointments, walking extensively, & a transfusion which crippled me with fear. The stats were totally inaccurate in terms of ‘stress’ timings, I was reminded to breathe via vibration only in the first hour of use then nothing so I kept checking settings! Footfall/steps seemed inaccurate every time & reminders came despite it being on charge - how could it ever know on charge in a different room! Sounds more ridiculous as I write this, given price too. Extremely briefly seemed to connect with my Galaxy S9, then refused, even after uninstalling and re-installing the app several times. Gave up and the stone then connected very easily to my iPod Touch. Very interesting to track so closely, my breathing etc through my afternoon/eve as a therapist. Spent a few minutes between each client deliberately slowing my breathing. Will be interested to see if my sleep changes. So far so good. Love all the little downloads as tips as 'Boosts'. Can't wait to try them all. Only downgraded the stone by one star as I couldn't connect it to my phone, even though it has the latest update. Charger works well and gentle vibration can be adjusted. UPDATE. 3 DAYS IN. Totally love the little Boosts. From 30 seconds duration, to full mediation etc, audio or visual prompts to breathe and relax are SO helpful. Great tracking through the day. Very impressed. Puzzled why it tells me to move the stone when it's clearly picking up my breathing. I bought it from Amazon so it'd be easy to return if I needed to - I took the advice of reading the reviews & there are a lot of unhappy people, & yet some who love it. The main problem is that it is killing my phone battery. I know the developers are saying that's not the case - but it is. I'm waiting to see how far through the day the phone battery lasted, whether I've lost any spire data. The reason I don't know yet is because there also seems quite a lag in the readings. So the home screen shows what I assume is my current breathing rate, but the overview is generally hours behind. It also still registers breathing when it's sitting on the table. & was sending me phone notifications that I'm tense when it was sat on the table, & just now as it's charging! That makes me a little cynical, though it doesn't add those \"tense\" streaks to my daily overview. It looks lovely, wearing it on either my bra or waistband seems comfy enough. I also wish there was a way to access the data through eg a website (some of the fitness trackers let you export your data to spreadsheets). I've only had it a few days & I imagine the novelty will soon wear off, it'll never replace my fitbit as a tracker - this really is just to monitor my breath. It does that well, I like the vibrate when it thinks i'm tense (I find I hold my breath a lot), there are loads of other vibrate notifications you can get (like if you've had a long calm streak). It has so much potential, it's just not there yet.ETA: it stopped working, it stopped vibrating (even the test vibrate). Spire told me the motor was probably dead, & to return it for replacement. I returned it to Amazon from a refund, that's why I bought it from Amazon in the first place. I didn't have it very long, (not even a month) so have regraded from a 3 to a 2. I disagree that placing it in my bra works best - I tried both and it works best attached to trousers.I suffer from anxiety disorder and stress and this product has become my early warning signal - allowing me to spot when my breathing is becoming tense and correcting it fast. But sometimes the device doesn’t recognise the placement and vibrates. Also varies on the comfort of it against your stomach. Some days it’s ok sometimes so uncomfortable I take it off. Good breathing techniques on the app to calm you. Is a lot of money if it doesn’t work 100%. Etwas enttäuscht war ich über den eher kleinen Anteil Erfassungszeit im Verhältnis zur Tragezeit und ich konnte mir diese Diskrepanz nie ganz erklären. Aber trotzdem eine gute Sache. Die Euphorie ließ dann peu a peu nach, der Spire hatte mir dann nichts wirklich Neues mehr zu sagen und wurde seltener genutzt. Kürzlich habe ich ihn reaktiviert, ein knappes Jahr nach dem Kauf - leider ließ er sich dann plötzlich nicht mehr laden. Amazon wird mir einen Ersatz zusenden, das ist sehr in Ordung. Mal sehen, ob ich den Spire wieder regelmäßig trage. Insgesamt ein \"Health-Toy\" das unterhaltsam und sehr schön gemacht ist.
