I live in a trailer and I'm in the room with the large window. I used these to cover up the window during the summer and it gave me relief of the heat which unfortunately had fried my plants prior to purchase. RIP bamboo shoots and cacti. If I'd had this from the get go they might have made it, but oh well. Keep your house at the temperature you want for less money with these. Things are not as hot during the summer, and during winter you can keep more heat in. Love this product. Also, keeps the signals from the aliens from reaching me while I sleep. JK! Nothing stops them signals.

I used this to line my cat’s tub for outside. I then put straw on top of it to keep her warm. Easy to cut and work with.

We used this to insulate our molded metal garage door and I can't believe how well it worked! Two packages did the whole thing and we had plenty left over to bubble wrap at least five toddlers if the need ever arises. It's just bubble wrap with a reflective silvered film over both sides, so it's light and easy to cut and mount with tape. It came with a bunch of tiny round mounting dots, but I didn't bother messing with those since I've been fooled by promises of two-sided adhesive in the past to disastrous results. Instead, I used silvered tape intended for wrapping ductwork and it matched the insulation that way. Summer is coming, so we'll see how well it holds in the cool air, but it's been holding in the heat from our space heater during these springs storms really well so far.

I bought this product to block out the heat / sun in one of my bedrooms. The window faces where the sun rises, so mid day the bedroom would get toasty. These were easy to cut and put up. After cutting and handling, I noticed that these seem to be pretty thin compared to other brands I’ve used the past. Once up, I did notice it helps keep the sun out, but it is also so thin, that you can see the shadows of whatever is behind it. I’ve had it up for about 2 weeks now, and it seems to be holding up decent so far. Fit is easy as you just have to cut it yourself.

I bought this to put in my window that the sun pounds on. It’s amazing how much of a difference having this on. Instant cooling on the inside of the room.

This was high quality insulating foil. There was plenty of it to use on several jobs. Helped me insulate a ceiling speaker installation and attic stairs installation.

Used the to make window insulators for my 85 4runner. Works great so far. Made rear glass, and all 4 topper windows insulation panels and still have leftovers

I am assuming the insulation will work, IF I can get it to stick. The double sided mounting squares provided stick to my sliding door but not to the insulation. I had double sided tape used to keep rugs in place. It is super strong but still having issues. It keeps coming off on insulation side. I just keep adding more tape. Hopefully it will stick.

I didn't know what to expect so when I received it, I was a bit disappointed at its thickness. I measured between 2.64mm to 2.84mm. The sheet comes folded like a blanket. As such, expect to deal with some crease. I had a very hard time to get it to stick to my windows so at the end, I simply used a bunch of Command Strips. In term of performance. it's pretty good. I don't have anything to compare it to so it's hard to tell if there are better options. I have a large window facing South-West which gets a lot of sun in the afternoon. I can feel the sheet getting hot but the room is significantly cooler. The sheet is not opaque. There is a bit of light that can get through which was a pleasant realization. I was concern that it would block off all the sun light but it's not the case. The room is still very dark but it's not pitch black.
