Works as expected.
I like that I was able to use it to extend the usb port to make it easier to connect my 3d printer to my raspberry pi 4 running octoprint and octodash.

It serves its purpose.
The product works exactly as advertised and is well built. I have no complaints with the quality or function, but I do believe the design could be improved. There are two things to keep in mind:1) The product mounts flush to the BOTTOM or BACK of the surface you want the plug on. This means that in the case of a think mounting surface, it will not really be flush. This may not be an issue, but it is worth noting.2) To properly install the product you must create a square hole in the mounting surface for the USB to go through. Although this may not sound like much, a square hole is more difficult than it may seem. Especially to make a very neat looking install. Some other versions of this product actually mount into the top of a round hole and would be much easier to install, cleaner looking, and more truly flush to the surface.This product is what it is, and does a good job meeting its intentions. I am happy with it as it is installed in my car, and I have no reason to change anything. If I were to do it again, I would probably go with a version that mounts in a round hole, but that is ONLY for ease of installation. The product itself is excellent.

Works great for DIY projects.
This was a great buy! The pricing was fair, and it works just as advertised.Granted, I modified mine to work through 3/4" plywood, but if you're using as it's intended, it's great, too! :)

Worked perfectly.
It's a cable extender, it works and it wasn't super expensive, so A+ I guess.It's hard to get hyped up about a cable extender. :/

It is what it is.
It is okay. I dont see anything bad with it. Mounts flush to the surface. Will use it to extend the tv usb port.

Not easy to find a USB A - M to F extension ...
.. but Startech has them. And as always the quality is top-notch while the price is more than reasonable.

These work great. The little tabs are a bit thick and ...
I use these to mount into a rasbperry pie for retropie installs. These work great. The little tabs are a bit thick and it isn't too pretty but they work.
