They work, but the clips don't really work well
I used these for the solar eclipse and it worked fine, but trying to clip them onto my glasses wasn't easy. I was afraid the clips would snap off, since I have thick lens.I'd give 3.5 stars, but not really 4 stars....so 3 stars due to the fact it's tough to clip them on.

Great use
I like the product with great use for a good fit and the best way to use for my eyes to look at the sunlight.

Not worth 12 bucks
If you wear prescription glasses , it would be nice to have clip on shades to view a solar eclipse . The filter part of these solar eclipse shades is fine ; but , the clips that are supposed to clip on your prescription glasses are cheap weak plastic clips that break off and they will not fit any prescription glasses properly .I would say you would do better to buy the 75 cent cardboard type solar shades . These are not worth 75 cents.

Did the Job
Used these for the 2024 eclipse. (Or partial here in Connecticut that is.) Worked great, and fit fairly naturally over my frames. would have been nice to be able to flip them or more rapidly take on/off, but for a short term (as any eclipse is) event that doesn't happen off, and a reasonable price, I can't complain much.

The eclipse is gone and do are these turkey shades
First of all, praise that the film WAS effective and dark enough, in contrast, my neighbors bought one of the cardboard framed package deals of 8 ea and couldn't use them, you couldn't even look at a light bulb, let alone the sun... So they hand held the ones I'm reviewing and the kids passed it around. Why were these eclipse clip-on glasses only rated THREE STARS? Because they have THE CLIPS IN THE WRONG PLACE!So I have standard men's metal framed glasses with adjustable nose pieces and so there's a crossbar between the two lenses on them.FIRST OF ALL:The one piece molded eclipse glasses have their clips that are supprised to fit on mine TOO CLOSE TOGETHER so one clip would be holding and the other just hanging in the air.SECOND ISSUE:The clips are set TOO LOW on their frames so when you do sort of get them on your prescription glasses ONE THIRD OF THE TINTED LENS STICKS ABOVE YOUR GLASSES AND SINCE THEY ARE NARROW TOP TO BOTTOM THEY ONLY COVER THE TOP HALF OF MY PRESCRIPTION GLASSES.To use them I finally took a piece of cardboard about 8"x8" and cut a 'window' in it that I could duck tape the eclipse glasses to as a glare shield and that was you didn't flash yourself as you tried to move them around to find the sun which I did multiple times the day before the eclipse testing them out.I gave three stars because they were dark enough but if I could have given a MINUS 5 for the wrongly positioned attachment clips and the tiny size not suitable for adult glasses I would.Im sure this review will go into limbo because the next eclipse won't be till 2044 or something like that and I won't live that long but these things P'd me of horribly.
