Great product! Perfect weight for putting a nice, even sear on steaks. Really like the handle. Wash, dry, and oil. Easy if you know how to take care of cast iron. No issues with any rust. I think it is worth the effort. I liked it so much, I bought the round burger press as well.

This is our second purchase of Burger press. They are great for helping keep the grease splatter and help holding the burger flat and heating from above. Food cooks faster with the heat from the press.

It felt a little light so I weighed it and it's not quite 3 lbs. It works but I wish I went with a heavier version.

Nice heavy griddle press... Handle stays cool enough to move by hand without pot holder. I've used it to sear steaks and burgers, also good for bacon. Wipes clean.

Perfect

I’ve used it once to prepare my “Breakfast like a King” with steak, bacon…etc,” on my griddle. The bacon and steak were perfect. Nicely sized, with a lot of heft. Big enough to handle the bacon strips. Feels like a Quality, Lifetime purchase though I will at no point be surprised should that black rubber will come apart. Or, last forever. I might make a wood replacement, either way. The black handle gets a bit warmer than I expected, but not uncomfortably so( I used to weld for a living and was a bit surprised to note its warmth.) All-in-all, I am pleased.

This press is big enough for a steak or two burgers. Heavy and high quality and love the handle that won’t get hot. Can’t wait to use it!
