Works Well
So far, I like this... I use a harness on my dog while he is hooked up in the yard. I really liked the kind of harness that just slips over the head, has a reflective chest strap and has one harness clip that you attach by the ribcage (I hope you can understand that look). I have gone through three of those things! On that kind, the strap on the ribcage eventually starts to loosen and I was adjusting the harness EVERY time he went outside! So far, I don't think that will end up being the case with this harness, if it does I will adjust my review accordingly. It did take a few minutes to figure out how to adjust the straps and I'm not sure I have adjusted the front chest straps completely correctly (because I just pushed the adjusted straps into the little 'pocket' created by the cloth). It would have been great to have included some type of instructions with the harness. It took a little doing, but I got it to fit my dog. He is a 60ish pound Belgian Malinois mix. I ordered the large after finding the measuring guidelines in the ad and figuring out that the sizing information was switched... not really handy. Anyway, the ribcage straps are at their farthest length and the chest had to be adjusted a bit...my dog doesn't know it yet, but he can't gain ANY weight if he is to continue to use this...lolSomething my dog did immediatly, prior to my adjusting the neck straps, was getting his bottom jaw inside of the front of the harness (maybe he could have gotten himself unstuck...) until I tightened it up. After I adjusted it, he seemed to stop doing it. I really hope he doesn't continue trying that business when I'm not looking!I do like this, but a little more length on the rib straps would have been handy, and some instructions for the straps would be nice as well.UPDATE: I received this on 6/17, last night (6/20), my dog spotted something at the back of the yard and took off after it (squirrel or cat?). The top, right tab, where the strap is stiched onto the harness, was completely shredded! He is a 60ish pound dog, not the biggest dog, and the harness completely fell apart! This harness CANNOT HOLD UP to a normal thing a dog does. We did witness all but the reason (squirrel or cat) he ran after something, he did not chew the harness. I am afraid that in an emergency this harness would do the same thing again, and completely fall apart! Not an effective and possibly even unsafe harness! Don't bother!!!

absolutely not!
this is a horrible harness, and definitely not a large. ! it didn’t even fit my dog, whoever said the sizing was way off!!
