POWERBLOCK Sport 50 Adjustable Dumbbells Set

Great communication effort from the seller. I was very surprised when the order came earlier than expected. The two dumbbells came together. See pics for yourself. I have used them once before this review and they are sturdy and very easy to adjust weights. Possibly the best thing I could have invested in during COVID-19. Thank you Meijers.

Great weights for working out from home. While quite expensive, the use and functionality you will get is immense. While being blocky, they actually look nice with the dark grey coating. Only things I dislike about the weights are the size at higher weights, for some exercises they just feel cumbersome. Also the weight adjustors are not great. One mine one of the adjusted is slightly not straight, and it means that it doesn't lock in properly half the time so I have to fiddle around with it. Which gets annoying between sets. Also, depending on the surface you have the weights on, the adjusting doesn't work well, for example if you have the weights on a softer surface like floor mats.

It's very good quality though is very pricey for what it is. Will also admit it might be worth getting thick gloves to add a bit of padding since after using it my hands have gotten calases and sometimes get a tad sore after use unless I wear thick gloves

This product does exactly what it claims to do - it holds your powerblocks neatly in place, allowing you to store them during or between workouts without marking your floor. There is not much to it - it's just a metal tray, so don't expect anything fancy. It's worth $39 to me.

Good quality, 22 kg max is good for me. Easy to change weights.

I bought the classic PowerBlock set just a few weeks ago. Having read a lot of reviews it became clear that a tray or stand was going to make using the blocks much easier. I didn't want to spend 100+ on a stand nor did I really have space for a stand in my apartment. I purchased the tray and have found it very useful. Changing the blocks on carpet without a tray can be difficult and resting the blocks on a hardwood floor or on a table could easily scratch the surface given their weight. The tray provides a very solid surface that you don't have to worry about scratching or denting. Most of all it makes changing the weights easy. I bought these specifically for use with the P90X program. With the tray I am able to change to different weights quickly enough to keep up with the pace of the P90X videos. It is a simple product that does exactly what it advertises. Recommended.

These have literally traveled around the world with me. I was deployed in the middle east and they came with me there. I lived in a couple of states in the USA before moving to Japan. They have came with everywhere and have held up perfectly. I still use them (and the tray). Nothing has ever failed me!! Absolutely one of my best purchases ever.
