Finally!Note:I'm using on a 3/4" wide collar for 20lb welshies with 12" necks.Pro:* lightweight* geometric shape makes it easy to handle to get on/off* the clip has a dedicated notch to rest for better security...most others don't* colors* durable* small so it doesn't hang too lowCon:* ring for tags doesn't appear too sturdy.. get your own off another gadget laying around your house* only 1 size of ring for tags ... not a show-stopper.

I purchased this because I have so many nice collars, but only one that I can take the pup out regularly on because it has all of her tags and I find when I try to move them from one collar to another it compromises the strength of the ring that the tags are on. I was happy when I saw this because it means I can finally start clipping her tags from one collar to another depending upon where we're going. Her main tough heavy duty dog park collar is getting pretty worn down and I took the tags from it, and tried them on the clip.Unfortunately it just BARELY won't close around the big ring from this collar - all the other collars it fits just fine except this big one. I find the quality is great, and I really like the idea and the fact it won't close around her park collar doesn't really bother me that much because that's the collar she plays rough and tumble in anyways so I'll just keep the clip on my key ring for that time.Very happy with this purchase, it feels like a great quality, and is nice and tiny so the tags don't hang too low. I've included in the pictures so you can get a feeling for what I'm talking about.

I love how fast and easy it is to move my dog’s tags from one collar to another. This little clip holds very well and is reliable. Much smaller than I expected which is good . Great purchase.

I love these! I personally have three Rubits and have good friends who use them as well. I raise puppies to be guide dogs, so I am often changing collars as the puppy grows. I also tend to change collars for different styles or when one needs washing. This makes it so simple to move the tags from one collar to the next (and saves my fingernails). They've held up to my dogs running through bushes, swimming, rough-housing and being chewed/grabbed inadvertently. On one occasion, the spring "lock" one of my Rubits came loose, but has not done so since I put it back together and tightened in with a pair of pliers. I have had 2 of the Rubits (in constant use) for about 3 years now and other than some edge wear on the colored one, they are both holding up wonderfully.I have all large breed dogs, and I recommend the size small despite Rubit's own recommendations. Other reviews have noted that the small is too small and hard to clip (or unclip), but I have not had a problem attaching it to large collars with thicker D-rings. That being said, I do have slim fingers, so maybe that helps. I purchased one medium before I'd seen the product in person and use it on my 80lb dog. The larger the Rubit, the farther the tags hang down, so I very much prefer the small.

This is the best solution for being able to easily attach / remove dog tags AND actually keep them. I’ve used tgis product for years, never once lost a tag. When the vendors were out I bought the competition and promptly lost tags, twice! Teach me! Now I refuse anything but these! They are the best, hands down. :)
