I recommend this item. Here’s why:With most of my purchases, I tend to over-research everything. I conducted about 30 hours of research on humidifiers and diffusers, the difference between them, the cons about each, and why to get one over the other.I’m pleasantly surprised with this unit and would highly recommend it if you:- want a great volume of mist in a compact unit- want to go longer between refilling it due to the larger capacity- don’t want to buy a humidifier because there’s too much research to do and there are too many parts to clean with a humidifier- want the ability to use essential oils in it (haven’t done this with the unit yet, but plan to)What I love:- This puts out quite a bit of mist! I would almost compare this with one of my heavy duty humidifiers. It puts out a TON of mist and doesn’t get the area wet nearby (including nightstands, carpet, etc)- The colors are a nice touch for ambience- Ability to adjust the mist volume/amount- LARGE capacity for a small unit like this! It’s 6x the capacity of my Zaq ultransmit diffuser (that I love to much but truly needed something with a larger capacity)- easy to clean- ability to direct the mist by turning the top lidWhat could be better:- The buttons aren’t intuitive and do not make sense for what they mean, and what I need to do. These could be made much better by a few modifications on the design. This is not a big deal because the unit works very well, just annoying.- I wish the running light would completely turn off at night time so I can sleep in pitch black. I’ll have to open it up and disable the light because you can’t put tape over it to block it out completely.

Wonderful product! I have the 500ml and was excited to see this 1000ml available! This is a super convenient diffuser with all the frills! Runs a long time due to large water capacity, auto shutoff when all water is used, beautiful light changing feature for ambience or color therapy, and choice of mild or heavy moisture stream. I’ve ordered another one already! I recommend this product. For my first order I was an Amazon Prime member and received next day delivery! No longer a PRIME member, I’ve been waiting a week so far and my diffuser hasn’t shipped yet, so I’m sad about that. Looking forward to receiving it. Get yours - you will surely love it!Two weeks later, I received my diffuser - and just like my two 500ml and other 1000ml, I think it’s the best diffuser on the market. And reasonably priced. I’ve also purchased 2 others for gifts,I would suggest that the feet on the bottom of the 1000ml be extended. They are too short to provide proper ventilation for the fan. It makes a discoloration mark on my wood cabinet and on my glass tabletop. No permanent damage, just marks I have to clean. Guess I’ll set these larger diffusers on trivets - unless maybe the UR company will send extension feet for the bottom. I don’t know why the large ones have shorter feet than the smaller diffusers?I continue to enjoy all the features it offers and I recommend these diffusers!

I purchased the URPower OD-401 400 ML model. this works really well, very nice thick steady stream comes out of the diffuser right away. I really wanted a larger capacity for my bedroom so I bought this one. I really like the way it looks, the larger capacity tank, and the colors.The problem is I am getting almost no mist, it puffs like the steam coming from a steam locomotive. I cleaned it, made sure all the airways were clear and tried again, again very little mist. The 400 ml model puts a stream at least twice as thick as this one and it is steady.The other thing I do not like about the design of these models is that the mist mode beeps once for high mist and twice for weak mist. I have no hearing in the higher frequency ranges, I cannot hear the fire alarm at work unless I am standing right under it, I cannot hear my cell phone, and I cannot hear these beeps at all. Really wish they would have made the signal a visual one, or visual and audio, maybe have all the last flash once or twice for the mode.I have let the unit run for over an hour now with no changes. I will see if anything changes, if not I will be returning this unit.UPDATE: I did everything that was suggested, washed the unit several times, made sure airways were clear, use a q-tip to rub the diffuser, this seemed to help a little. After several attempts and little improvement, I noticed the plastic pieces in the cover were loose. I removed them and reinstalled, they were much more secure. This worked. I think the may have come loose in shipping, or from the numerous times I opened and closed the unit. I now have a full steady stream of mist. I really like this diffuser. Only reason I dI'd not give 5 stars right now is that I am a little worried about the reliability based on the issues I noticed and other posts stating their unit quit working. I really like this diffuser, if reliability does not become a factor I plan on purchasing more for the house and as gifts.
